Thoughts on this anyone? Not the exact outfit but the shirt is the same as he's wearing in the tourney. I feel like this can't be comfier than a polo.

I have last year's Aloha shirt. I bought it to wear in Maui when I played Kapalua. It actually is more comfortable than a polo. The material is so thin, I felt like I was playing shirtless. Haven't worn it since, but it is super comfortable and I may consider buying this one when it is on sale for those twilight 9s in the heat.

Kind of strange, but I think it looks fine when worn with the shorts but awful when worn with long pants. With the shorts it looks casual and fun, with the pants it just looks a little try-hard and not very professional.

Agreed. Rickie, has grown to have great taste with a cutting edge, That's rare. I loved seeing the untucked last year. I'm glad he is keeping on.

No, you fixed it for you and your obsession with insulting people who are overweight. Rickie Fowler is pretty fit and he looks good in the shirt.

I am disappointed with how slovenly Americans have become.

 

I think a huge man or woman that is comfortable in their body can be quite attractive, but the only reason you wear your shirt untucked in a formal setting is that you have a concealed carry piece in your waistband or you're fat and think it covers up your gut.

Im digging it. Not sure why it's an issue for some people. Some people just prefer to not be tucked. It's a comfort thing.

Personally, I love the look...just looks odd on the golf course.

 

Also, since the shirt has a little scallop in the front and back it looks like it should be tucked in...looks that way to me anyway. It would look a lot better untucked if it had a straight hem like a normal hawaiian short does.

I don’t mind a little fashion forward trend or something different. If new looks aren’t tried, we get stuck. I’m glad the short basketball shorts of the 70’s were overturned and the early look of Tiger in bagging pants and shirts looks silly now with all the fitted clothing. I do agree the length was odd, I was a fan of his Hawaiian shirt last year (I think) untucked. As mentioned, that’s the right length.

 

And Matt J, easy on the fat people comment masked in some argument for “proper” dress code. Most people I see with untucked shirts are super thin young guys with up to date fashion. Let’s not make it about people’s weight. I’m not mad, no need to start a fight, but just keep those comments out. Your argument is fine, minus the fat people comment.

I'd say its fine in Hawaii and West coast. I'm from San Diego and its definitely more lax here especially at Torrey Pines. Dress code is not enforced at Torrey and I mean collared shirts or untucked shirts.

 

Rickie can pull it off but not everyone can
