Still Loving Your F9 Driver?

Sorry to hear that muniman…...They usually are brand new when they list them like that.

I was hoping for a new one. They stated in the listing that some had been used to hit just a few balls. Took a chance, and unfortunately i received a questionable one. No biggie...they refunded my money, so all is good.

Just got back from the simulator where I got to hit my F8+ and F9 back to back.

 

I won't post speed numbers since I know that the simulator reads high compared to a Trackman but comparing relative speeds, the F9 is definitely faster by about 3 MPH.

 

F8+ set to 8.5* with a Tour AD TP 7 in it.

 

F9 set to 9*D with a Kiyoshi Purple.

 

F9 still solidly in the bag after one day! :)

Thanks for the DD's tip . Price was right.. Couldn't resist any longer, order

placed. I went with the stock Avalance 10.5 / Helium shaft set up. That way I

have the ability shorten it to my preferred 44.5" length and adjust head weight

with hotmelt to fit me , and what ever shaft in my collection works the best..

Pretty sure they have various changeable weights so you don't have to add the hotmelt.

I prefer to test with lead tape . Gives me a better fit and more options with the

the settings and shafts I will be testing , Settling on where and how much hot

melt to add , after finding the combination that works best for me ....

 

A good fit is alot more than building to a certain swing weight ...or a 1 day

test on a monitor...On course playing conditions , head to head , against the

previous gamer takes a little time , but is worth it in the end...

Got an M5 arriving in the next couple days. Seems like the M6 is getting lots of love too although I just don’t like the look. I’m sure I’ll try it eventually if the M5 doesn’t do it for me.

I really wanted to like this thing, bought two heads (10.5) and (9) and I could not get anything decent out of it.

Spin rates too high. I do have a funky over the top swing though and I started to get better results with it when i played around with the weights. But it wasn't kicking my ping out of the bag.

I just got a 9* Yellow F9 with a HZRDUS SMOKE, but I love my HZRDUS Yellow (Tour Length). I swapped the tip out and love it! Ball Go Far! Anyone need a tour length Smoke 70g Stiff?

Only three rounds so far but really happy with the F9. Happy that I went with the Tour Length option which comes at 44.25 with a standard mid size grip. The D5 swingweight was a pleasant surprise. Was going to put in a DI7 shaft but also surprised that I’m liking the ATMOS TS Blue. The sound is great and the CNC milled face also yields a uniquely solid and connected feel ... at least I’m assuming that the CNC face is what makes such a big difference.

Just bought one on JDS Clubs, hit one in the simulator and love it hope the love lasts it cost me some coin, ordered mine with a Tour AD VR 6s 44.75. We shall see...Weather in Ohio very bad so may be some time before I post results. Anyone have this combo with any feedback?

Just ordered white one on JD’s with ventus 7x 44.25”. Looking forward to trying this shaft, always a fan of Fuji. Heard so much good stuff about this club, hope it lives up to the hype!

I bought two M2 drivers from them and returned one of them. It was still in the wrapper when I returned it. Got my money back with no issues and when I went to bid on another club they blocked me on eBay. I messsged then about 10 times and got no reply as to why.

You bought two of the same item and returned them both, including one new in the wrapper. Not surprised they blocked you at all. Would be surprised if they blocked the guy with one that came all dinged up

I was swinging at 75% and getting my existing numbers so I am looking forward to really going after it this Sunday and seeing what numbers I can get out of it taking the SS up a bit.

Mine went left OB the last time I played but that's what I got for swinging out of my shoes to try and get to a Par 5 in two. The rest of the day was dollar bills.
