I have both the 60 degree and 64 degree Hi-Toes and love them both. The only thing I dislike is due to the finish the face marks pretty easily. Other than that they have been great tools!

Thanks!

A few questions, if you don't mind:

What kind of player are you?

Are you steep or shallow at impact?

Do you find the wedge works best from tight sand, or deep, fluffy sand the best?

Does the club "dig" on full shots, or is the turf interaction nice and smooth?

When you open the face around the green, do you find that you can get the leading edge under the ball with ease? Or is it not very forgiving?

Thanks much!

I have a 60 that I love. I never hit it on full swings. I pretty much only hit it on shots around the green if I need to hit it high and stop it quick or I am playing a firm, quick course where more spin is needed. It's great from the sand, tight lies, and rough. Very capable wedge. I have it in the ATV grind

I’ve only been playing 5 years but the Hi-Toe 58 I have is my favorite wedge I’ve ever used from 60 yards in and around the green. In fact, the last time I played I had a green side bunker shot And I didn’t get out of the bunker on the first shot. I literally thought to myself, “I honestly think that is the first time I have not got out of the bunker with the hi-toe”. Thinking about it more, I’m pretty sure it is.

Just so awesome out of the bunker. And for what it’s worth, I like how they wear.

Used the hi-toe for the first time today. No bunker work but all kinds of chips and flops. This thing pops the ball up suuuuper easy and can open very easily. I didn't have my Glide 2.0 with me, but feel wise it was similar, but did feel a bit more firm in general.

Going to try and get some bunker work and real play in tomorrow. Hopefully I can get out and walk 9 alone so I can tinker around a bit. Obee, if I were you, I'd definitely give it a go. Initial impressions were pretty good.

I use the 64 since release. I’m a 11.7 handicap

Pros: Non glare finish but does mark up as others noted. Light fluffy sand and thick rough this club excels.

Cons: due to the club’s high bounce, tight green side lies can be difficult. The leading edge doesn’t allow this club for open faced shots except from the sand. Sound is ok but I feel it’s brighter and louder than a vokey

I have a tour issue hi toe 60. The one with the strait edge.

Looks great in pics but really no difference in any other wedge.

I picked up a Hi-Toe 60° with ATV grind when they first came out and had it reshafted with a DG 120 Tour Issue S400... I will say without a doubt it has saved me stroke around the green when I go long or short on my approach into the green. So easy to end up in tap in range when using it. Liked it so much I have a 56° coming as well.. with full face grooves. I've tried a lot of wedges and these just flat out perform for me..

My first hi-toe arrives today. Got a 60.

May look at getting a 54 as well somewhere down the line.

Used one for a few months, it wasn't much different around the greens and out of bunkers for me than the 60S Vokey's I've been playing for years, it was however a lot worse for half swing and above shots. Ended up selling it and went back to the Vokey because the performance around the greens didn't justify the loss of the longer shots for me. For reference I'm a 1.1 index and have much more of a Steve Stricker type action around the greens so your results may vary widely.

Have to agree with this. Rarely use this club for anything except bunkers and flops.

I have all three wedges as Hi-Toe version (50, 54 & 60). I have used the 60 for full shots but I generally use it from 60 yard and under, anything above I use my 54. I play on a links course and feel sometimes the club doesn’t play ball on tight lie, full shots. The 50, 54 are fantastic, I’ve had SM6 and MD4S. I’d say the Hi-Toes have been the best for my wedge game. The 60 is amazing from all round the green, deep rough and bunkers... you really do get away with a lot - high face shots, slightly low in the face etc

> Anybody using this wedge on near full swings? I use my 60 from 90 yards and in, would this be consistent enough from that distance or is this more of a specialty wedge? I'm a pretty good wedge player, index is 5.

Full swings seem to be a lot like the original PM grind and are very demanding with strike location and favor strikes closer to the toe and higher on the face .to get the full distance. The PM Grind 19 is much better for full shots than the previous version so maybe TM will improve on this if they decide to make a second gen Hi-toe

I am enjoying my 58. Great out of bunkers. No issues with full swings from 90 yards. The ATV sole does interact 'differently' with the turf. It is almost feels kind of sticky through the grass but it works.

Have played the Hi-Toe 58* and 60*. I'm a lefty, so the ATV grind is the only available to me in each of those lofts. Had the original Callaway PM Grind and switched to Hi-Toe. Easier on full swings vs. PM Grind, but the ATV grind has more bounce than the PM. My only hope is that TM offers a non-ATV low-bounce version of the Hi-Toe in lefty. Can flight the Hi-Toe much easier than PM, but I rarely use it other than flops and bunker shots. Everything else I use my milled grind 50* or 54*. Had the 58* Hi-Toe with the stock KBS Hi Rev 2.0 in 115g. Now have my 60* Hi-Toe with the upgraded Modus 115 Wedge shaft and like it a lot (plus it's black so it looks cooler). HDCP is 3-6.

I picked up one because I was curious. I never used a 60* for full shots, only around the greens. I like it more than my Vokey. I feel like it spins the ball a lot and is really stable through the grass. I can’t put my finger on what I like vs my vokey, I just know I definitely do prefer it.
