Custom putters

I have finally pulled the trigger on a custom C & L putter. I was in Savannah on Thursday 9/18 and went in to see Chip. I had already being emailing, frequently, with Lee. I have the putter on order, and have raw pics, but I want to wait till it is finished to show you the completed putter, start to finish.

I wanted to keep it pretty clean, so I went with my name in the bumpers, a flange sight line, and the C & L logo in the cavity, and the weight on the sole toe, which ended up being 353. We are trying to get the absolute darkest oil can possible, and I chose a dirty white for the paint fill which should look good, I am trying to keep it really clean and professional looking, in my opinion.

The main reason for my email, other than to tease the finished product, is to brag on these guys. I have been very pleased with the level of service they have provided. In this day of hustle & bustle you just don't get people, in most businesses, to take time to give what I call superior service. I went in to meet with Chip last Thursday and we went through the process soup to nuts.

I am very impressed with the raw milling, and the other components they have chosen.....no shortcuts here.

Thanks again guys for the great service, now I just have to be patient for a month.

I too just ordered my C & L. I went through the design with Lee today and I must say I am impressed with both the service and attention to detail and hey the price can't be beat. Lee Emailed me a sketch of my putter to confirm placement of the stamping and all the specs I want for my Custom C & L. Since I just placed the order I will post pictures when the process is done in a month or so. I cannot wait to see how this comes out. My main reason for ordering was word of mouth from all you guys on here and all the incredible pictures.

Same here, I just pulled the trigger a week or so ago, and am waiting as patiently as possible for the new flatstick to come in. I have been talking with Lee over e-mail, and he has been nothing but friendly and attentive. I am eagerly awaiting the actual product, but in the meantime I am actually trying not to think about the month wait.

I've almost finished designing my second one. The customer service is almost unheard of. These guys are truly top notch. Even better than the customer service are the putters. These things are works of art with a superb feel. I can't wait to get a stainless version at the end of the year. Enjoy your putter when it gets to you, and of course post pictures.
