Driver shaft with a big kick

Seems like everyone on here swings 120mph and wants shafts with a “smooth load and no distinctive kick”. I want the opposite. I wants a shaft where I feel that sucker load hard and snap through impact. Here’s the catch, still low spin and accurate. Any thoughts on premium shafts that might fit this?

Tensei Pro Blue is super smooth, loads and releases well. Accuracy is more player driven but the PB is very consistent. Tour AD DI could fit the bill too.

That can be a little tricky as a strong kick will always equal a bit of added dynamic loft which brings spin up. Accurate will all depend on how it fits your swing. Overall though, you'll want something with an exaggerated softer mid section but a very stiff tip, something that kicks in the middle mostly. The Aldila Xtorsion Copper and the Oban Kiyoshi Purple/Black come to mind first. Oban Kiyoshi Tour Limited, HZRDUS Yellow/Smoke Yellow as well which are basically the Project X Loading Zone profiles. For something a little different, maybe the Tensei Pro Blue or the Accra TourZ RPG.

For cheaper, I've always found the Diamana Kai'li to be a very rubbery, load heavy shaft as well.

I play the PX Evenflow Black 6.5 75g tipped 1". It feels smooth as butter and spins very low.

100% take a long look at Graphite Design shafts, or the original Fujikura Speeder (Blue one I think). The graphite design tour AD DI has a VERY distinctive kick to it, the AD TP has a bit of a kick to it but is much much tighter feeling than the DI. Graphite design claims majority of their shafts are high launch and low spin but I am sure most of realize that is simply a marketing term. Spin is dependent on delivered loft and strike location, a shaft can help these conditions if the shaft syncs up with golfer’s swing. I have never hit the og Fuji speeder shaft but remember everyone describing the big kick and snap through impact.

A shaft dont really "kick", but we can get that sensation if ALL club specs is set right, and you load and release the club "right", and even if i never used FLIGHTSCOPE for fitting, they have a interesting function where we get to see how the shaft profile works in the players hands. I simply got the idea that this function might be helpful here, even if that feel is hard to quantify. Fligtscope uses the term "Acceleration Profile", so i got the idea that if one profile actually is faster during release and give that sensation or feel, Flightscope might be able to measure it and confirm it, and then it should be easy to navigate between options with similar profiles, softer or stronger, or higher or lower weight.

It's funny...but I still don't think anyone actually knows what exactly the graph shows. Honestly I think there are too many variables to ever say with 'absolutes' what is does show other than the rate of movement in the club head. I have posted on it a few different times, and no one has really come up with an answer. I do like that the GEARS stuff has come along, as it adds a little bit of understanding to where the numbers might be coming from now.
