anybody using tour ad shafts with these or evo11 661 ？I have a smoke 60 6 flex and hate it .. Ive hit a tour ad mt in a M1 head and loved how it felt.. thats my only experience with GD shafts so far

Have a Rouge SZ driver with AD IZ. It’s probably the longest combo I’ve ever played. I have a EF SZ in my 3w with AD MJ, the feel is a little too whippy for me. I will be looking at something slightly stiffer in the mid section soon.

I have played both a Speeder Evo I and Evo II in my Flash SZ. Both are awesome. I prefer the Evo I because I like a little "looser". Actually thinking about selling my Evo II just because the Evo I is so good for me

I have the DI-6 in my EFSZ. SS ~ 95-105 with a short backswing and a transition on the quicker side. Other shafts that I’ve played include PX Hzd yellow, EF blue, Tensei Blue AV, PX LZ handcrafted, and Fuji Pro 2.0. Even went a bit old school and tried an old faithful Diamana Kai’li 70.

 

On skytrak I consistently produce faster ball speeds and longer carry with the EFSZ/DI6 than any other combo but the dispersion always has me looking for something else. I love the feel of the shaft “loading” but sometimes I feel that is what make it tough to time. I’ve recently added a TS3 with a TP-6 and while it hasn’t produced ball speeds and distance the EFSZ/DI-6 combo have, it has a more predictable flight and dispersion. Downside is the roughly 10 yard distance loss on average and the feel isn’t quite as smooth. For me, if there is a shaft that plays in between the DI and TP it would probably be perfect. I play the IZ in my flash SZ. It’s probably the best combo I’ve had. I’m a tinker with my clubs and shafts and have had this combo since February

I play the pro ? 70 and this is best combo I have ever played in any driver, shafts are expensive but the orange is the best spin killer ive swung. I need to get a different front weight to dial in the Swing weight to offset the counter balance of the orange and maybe create even more swing and ballspeed

Yep, mostly black with the yellow stripes. I have that in 8s. Driver SS is 108.

Og SZ here... Play smoke 6.5 and I think the shaft is a little high torque but otherwise it's still pretty low spin. It gives it kind of a unique feel to be honest, I'm still adjusting.

 

Other shafts that I've really liked but can't afford are va composites raijin and Accra tzxtreme 465.

Recently got one and put the "old" Diamana S / 70g from my BB Double Black Diamond on it. Performed much better for me than any of the stock shafts and didn't feel the need to upgrade to the equivalent Tensei White. Longer and tighter dispersion on the flash, love it.

tour ad tp for me. Currently testing flash sz before it goes into bag, but tp 7x has been my go to shaft for awhile now. Really want to try Ventus out, a lot of people are getting faster ball speeds with that.

Have you played any other AD shafts or messed with heavier S flex shafts? I’m trying to decide if I want to go to 6x from my 7s in the IZ.

Yea, currently have the ad iz 85x in hybrid, tried ad di 7x in 3 wood and thought that felt extremely loose. The DI 7x i tipped an inch and it was a little better but TP was just so much better for me in every way. I was only able to hit ad GP in 7x and my buddy had it tipped 3/4” in his driver and I didn’t love that feel. If it was untipped or tipped maybe 1/4” in driver it would have been more playable for me. I like a little feel/action as the shaft loads but not ad di action if you know what i mean.

I loved the sound and feel of the 400 but I love the shaft in the callaway. I may take a shot at the 410 with the same shaft and see which comes out on top for me.

I take it youre a lefty？same as me.. hard to find anything low spin for us.. as of now I believe the ping lst is only in rh ？I spin my 3wood and 2hybrid basically the same as driver.. not the drivers fault but I will say I hate the px smoke shaft.. id rather swing a lady flex shaft I reckon id get more out of it.. the evenflows in my 3wood and hybrids Iike very much

I didn’t know the LST version was not offered in LH..... I am surprised since I’ve never known a version of any of PING’s offerings to not be available in LH, but I guess that’s the lefty curse. I e heard of several people playing the regular version and having PING hot melt the head to move the COG a bit forward. My EFSZ has been very good for me so no hurry or need but I’m a tinkerer so I guess I’ll see if I can hold off. I would completely agree with your thoughts on the evenflow shafts. I have one in a rogue SZ three wood and it has been great for me.

I love the combo I recently added a diamana bf 60 similar profile as the tour iz but has a tad better feel

I just had my first round with an Epic Flash SZ Triple Diamond combined w an Ad-iz 5s.

Perfect combo! The triple diamond head is so much nicer than the regular sub-zero. Even though it is 450 cc there doesn’t seem to be any size difference at address.

I have no idea why Callaway are not marketing the Triple Diamond head more.

I was messing around at Dick's on day and a rep set me up with a EFSZ with Tour AD IZ-6x and it was a weapon. I have a Speeder 661 Evo in my M1 and it's my favorite shaft I have owned to date.
