While friends were grabbing some food at the turn today, I reorganized my clubs so that they are "sideways" in my Ping Pioneer bag on my ClicGear 3.5 with tour bag kit (same setup as Argonne69 has in photo above) and played the back 9 that way. I absolutely loved it. For reference, I have a Driver, 1 Fairway wood, 2 hybrids, 5-9, PW, UW, SW, LW and putter. My putter is a mallet. So, it got in the way a little bit at first. So, I ended up leaving the front left slot open and let the putter block that empty slot.

 

Until reading these posts, I never considered loading the clubs from right to left instead if top to bottom.

As great as the tour bag kit is... the installation instructions stink. And, unlike with many other ClicGear accessories, there is no installation video. Once you figure it out, it's pretty easy to install. If you buy it and end up having any questions, rather than searching the net (unsuccessfully) as I did. Just come back here and ask,

Those with a clicgear: I have read reviews about bags rubbing against the main wheel, and although I love my current pushcart, a clicgear may be in my future. Has anybody experienced this issue before?

The only time I've had that issue is when I didn't put the bag properly on the base above the wheel. I haven't had that issue for a long time.

I had the issue before I installed the tour kit. It comes with a different bottom bracket that raises the bag off the wheel.

They also sell a booster clip for $10 that attaches to the bottom support and raises the bag off the front wheel. Clicgear Booster Clip

I need to flip my clubs when walking. I may go with the left to right method as that would solve the problem. My cable came loose on the bottom, the wheel brake, anyone have a fix for that?

Serious question. I saw in most of the pics that you guys put your woods in the front of the bag. I always put my wedges in front and woods in the back. Why put the woods in the front? Thanks

So the iron droop doesn’t hit the graphite shafts. It’s like a carry bag, you wouldn’t carry with the woods situated on the bottom.

Yes, when riding the clubs have to be flipped.

I put my woods down the right side of the bag long to front, Then start second row with longest irons.

 

Keeps the longer shafts off the pushcart handle too.

I really like the idea of the Tour Bag Kit for the Clicgears, with something like that was made for the SM push carts. I love my cart but do wish that the bag was a little more up/down.

Anyone have an idea if I could modify the tour bag kit for a SM cart? I can't really tell how it attaches.
