Your picture with the bag cozy illustrates my only frustration with the clicgear. I had a 3.5+for several years. No doubt a very well built and rugged cart. Almost bullet proof (although I saw a post where a guy bent his base support). But I felt like I had to do so many things to get a bag to sit on the cart in a stable manner. When I had a sun mountain stand bag with the foot on the base, the bag would slide around and twist. Then I had issues with the bag hitting the wheel. Finally the leg would rub all the paint off at the top mought. So I got the booster to raise it up, then the cozy to make the legs sit in stable and not rub (and some people get the Tour bag kit). Then when I got a new bag I had to focus on getting a stand bag with a flat bottom, like the Hoofer, as it would sit so much better.

I had a chance to get a Bag Boy Quad XL (for free). It's much lighter and no matter what bag I use, they all sit with no issue. I've use it with the Hoofer with flat bottom, and now a Nike Air Hybrid with foot, both sit just great and the legs dont rub at the top, and not twisting. No issues with the foot on the Nike and nothing else to buy, just sit the bag in and go.

Would I have switched to the Bag Boy if I had to buy it, no, I would have continued to use the Clicgear. But if I had the benefit of knowing what I know now, I would buy the Bag Boy Quad if I had to buy a cart now.https://forums.golfwrx.com/discussion/comment/19439330/#Comment_19439330

my hoofer is just “ok” on my clicgear. Will have to shop for a new bag. Was thinking maybe the mizuno pro cart bag. Can anyone post a picture with this particular bag on their clicgear?

I had two Mizuno Pro cart bags (2015 - 18). Both were decent on the ClicGear 3.5+, but like may bags suffered from wanting to rotate slightly. It wasn't a show stopper, but it was annoying at times to have to adjust it during the round.

I still have the newer one for my backup set, although I doubt it'll see the course again. If you're interested in a good used bag, PM me. Unfortunately the shipping might be a bit on the high side.

Got to use my putter tube for the first time today. 'Works great. It looks a bit odd sticking out so far from the bag's umbrella hole, but it gets the job done, and protects the shaft. Since the tube is open at the bottom, I'm afraid if I cut it down the putter grip would simply come out the end of the shorter tube and hit the ground.

Hmm, the tube I found on Amazon came with a plastic cap. I put a nut and bolt thru it to sandwich a couple of washers with the cap to attach in the umbrella loop at the bottom. After I decided how long the tube should be (I ended up shortening it about 2") I super-glued the cap into the tube. I attached some fuzzy velcro to the inside at the top to protect the putter shaft. It's working great.

The one I have came with a cap on the tapered top. I tried to insert it into the rough-edged bottom, but couldn't get it in. I'll have to fiddle around with it some more. I think 2" shorter would be about right.

I am really liking the Kahma bag. May I ask where you purchased? I have been on the US website but they only list the C 16 bag.

I purchased from their US Distributor (he runs the US website), as he lives just a few cities over. Last I spoke with him (which was Monday), he only has one bag left in stock, which is the staff bag. All the bags come out of Australia and the parent company has been out of production due to the current world situation. My understanding from him is that new bags probably won't be available until near the end of summer.

It seems pushcarts are sold out everywhere, and if not the prices are through the roof. You think prices will hit rock bottom in a few months once the restrictions are lifted, and the new walkers flock back to their electric carts? I think we'll see a flood of gently used pushcarts on the market.

Sorry for the selfie, but this was me yesterday when we got caught in a squall on the back 9. Loved having the umbrella on the cart...kept everything extra dry. I took the photo to send to the wife to prove that it was worth me buying the rain gear and umbrella, hahaha.

I cut the tube 2", and managed to get the cap on the bottom. It's working like a charm. 'So much easier than trying to get the putter in the front (top) pocket.

The notch on the bottom of my Titleist cart bag has fit well in the bottom stand of my ClicGear and stopped it from shifting or twisting.
