Picked up a couple Glide 2.0 stealths today. Looks like someone got a bit distracted when putting together this 50 degree...

Not going to lie, first time I noticed, I was like “is this upside down on all lefty wedges?” then compared it to my 56 and realized no, that’s insane.

I'm wondering if that came from Ping or elsewhere. It would almost be impossible for that to happen. What is the serial number?

I was concerned about this for a bit when I first got it, and I’ll still probably call PING, but I’m sure it’s real. It would actually be really easy to plop that badge on upside down on this wedge, and I’ll bet that little badge is put on by hand like the CTP. Plus, everything is black on this club. Remember, this is the wedge that many people paint-fill just the loft number so they can see what wedge they’re actually grabbing.

 

It would be painfully obvious on the 2.0 hydro pearl finish. I can see how this slid through the cracks on the stealth finish.

That is pretty funny. I have never seen a counterfeit lefty club but I have always been curious as to whether they actually exist.

Other than some super rare special edition Phil prototype making fake left handed clubs is like counterfeit $1 bills, not really worth the effort and you probably lose money in the process.

I looked at my Stainless 2.0's and I thought it was a stamp in the metal. But looking at my new 2.0 Stealth's, it has to be a badge like you say. No way they could get that shine on the word "Glide" unless it was a badge.

You never know. Mis-struck coins and print errors on bills are sometimes quite valuable. Clubs . . . who knows?
