Taylormade p790 UDI HZRDUS smoke 6.5 100 grams

Has anyone played this shaft/ tested it? Got any pics of the shaft? I’ve never seen a hzrdus shaft with Hy written under the weight before? Is that a legit shaft not a fake?

It’s legit. Project X is making HZRDUS smoke hybrid shafts for new products like the new P790 UDI and titleist TS2 and 3 hybrids

I have the S shaft in this model. As you can see in my signature, all of my clubs are X except for the UDI (will explain) and wedges (went softer because I never take full shot with wedges).

 

This club is a beast. For reference, my driver swing speed is 110-113. I tested both the X and S shaft in the UDI during my fitting. Off the tee, both shafts flew about 245-250 for me, very minimal difference in launch, flight and carry. When we started testing off the turf, the S was the clear winner due to higher launch and therefore more carry. The difference was almost 15 yards. I am a longer hitter, play from the tips at my club and will almost always go for the green in 2 on par 5s, so for me the extra 15 yards off the turf is huge with the S flex. Long story short, try both shafts and it is worth it.

Hit both 6.5 and 6.0 the other day and found the same results. The 6.0 just felt a little smoother and launched better off the turf and I play x100s in my irons
