For me, Caddyshack, Happy Gilmore

Caddyshack and Tin Cup and I'm ashamed to say I have never seen Happy Gilmore because I'm not an Adam Sandler fan.

However, I've been told it's a must so I think I might rent it this weekend.

I'm not a fan of Sandler's movies either, but I did like Happy Gilmore. It's definitely worth a rent.




EDIT: The Wedding Singer is good too, but those are the only ones I could stand to watch.

two things...
1. there is a movie with the guy from Vegas (dantana) where he is a golf pro and goes on tour, some disney like thing with a perfect putter that shows the way blah blah blah blah they get hte money and save a church or something blah blah blah blah.. it was cute and ok on a rainy day, but definitely not top 5 on the chart.


2. There has to be a rule against posting a picture of the guys from journey that has the dood with the permed hair. no way that isn't a violation of golfwrx rules ! ! !

Happy Gilmore was my favorite until I saw The Greatest Game Ever Played. I got my girlfriend to come see it with me when it first came out. She fell asleep but I was on the edge of my seat! Girls just don't understand... AWESOME MOVIE!!!

Yes, that is the one. But that site looks super sketchy - check out their FAQ page on compatibility (DVD players compatible with the +R or -R format) and Quality Ratings.:

As far as I know, Dead Solid Perfect is not available on DVD. That looks like a VHS transfer to me.

Caddyshack. It is the Animal House of golf movies. Dead Solid perfect was just on within the last couple of months and I never thought to check the replay and DVR it. I'll search for it though and if it comes up and I get it I will post a notice...J

Tin Cup. For me that was the best ever. Caddyshack was great, but I like all the extra stuff like Gary McCord, Ken Venturi, Lee Janzen, etc that Tin Cup had. That just sold it for me. That and all of the great lines that Costner had. One of my favorites has always been, "does my inner child need a spanking?"
