That is one big advantage of the Full Swing.  Its oretty much set it down on the grass and go.  
 

We did make the trade permanent.  I think we are both pleased.   
 

In the 5 sessions i have had with it, setting up is not a big deal at all.  Maybe a slight Tilt or Roll adjustment.  But most times it’s within the green from the time i set it down 

 

same with Target line. No problem with that either. 
 

all my club data such as path, face, A0A seems spot on. 
 

As for ball data.  Yesterday was the first time i have experienced it reading short. 
 

With ProV’s the carry was about 10 to 12 short and total was even further off like 25 to 30 yards.  My GHIN app read most drives 232 to 246.   The longest on the FA App was 208.  
 

But thar is just one session.  A couole days before they seemed spot on. 

 

I’m loving all the data ans seeing Face Impact and the animation of the club plane and path is honestly stuff you’d expect from a $25,000 unit not a $3000

I love my 2023 Mevo+ but the numbers I get from the Flightscope software is pretty stingy, especially with driver. Not sure if it's their algorithm or what. I know most will say "you don't hit it as far as you think you do" but what I see on the course tells me otherwise. Something I can't understand is, when using the trajectory optimizer in the Flightscope program, the numbers there are more in line with what I see on the course, not the optimized number but the actual raw numbers. For instance, one drive in session mode showed CHS 112mph, 12º launch, 2500 spin, ball speed 164mph, carry 256, total 263. Selecting this shot in the optimizer, the carry was 265 with a total of 279 before the optimization is applied. I guess I need to email Flightscope to get the skinny on this. Interesting thing though, hitting balls on the TGC2019 range gives me nearly the exact numbers that I see on the course. Odd right? We play a lot of sim golf, especially when it gets colder out, and we are going to do a year of GSPro and give it a try. Might see how the GSPro numbers stack up against FS and TGC19. BTW, I will say that the Mevo+ does an excellent job playing sim golf from driving to putting and all points in between.

I’m using an older Anker 13000mAh power bank and it powers my 2023 Mevo+ fine. When I try to plug my iPhone in addition to Mevo+, it doesn’t seem to be able to charge both. I’ve used the cable that came with the Mevo+ and used a generic 10’ USB cable without issues.

Did you happen to change the ball type? I noticed that the numbers can be off when I forget to switch between Range ball and a Standard ball. The clubhead speeds would be fine, but my distances were off.

It's a well know issue but also keep in mind that ball speed in higher ranges might not be caught if you don't have enough flight (ie. short indoor)... I'm not sure if your numbers were outdoors or not but just in case as you're swinging it pretty fast..

E6, GSpro and TCG most likely all add their own modelling on top of flightscope's raw data so it's possible FSGolf is account for other things we don't know of... like weather conditions. (which I always override)

My Flightscope numbers were indoors. I've got 13 feet from tee to screen, driver ball speed is 165 to 169, still hadn't hit 170 though lol but still not bad for 54 yo

wow. that's great ball speed for sure! I'm turning 50 this year and I've rarely managed to hit more than 108CHS indoors... My strike is not great but I also have only 11' of flight... I'm mostly doing technical work as my swing is a disaster so I can't swing freely yet as my hook is unplayable otherwise. But when I'm swinging decent I've hit a few 290y drives so I'd be more than happy with that if I can manage to keep it in play!

Anyone had a chance to use the new update that has just been released yet? I’m on holiday and just seen the update come through on the App Store but can’t get a go with it yet because I’m away. 
 

I have been moaning at flightscope for gapping software like foresight does for years. I’m really intrigued to see what they have done with this. 
 

any other changes that I can’t see without being connected to the device?

I like the new software also but my cameras have been getting turned off quite often and I have to go Into setup and turn them back on.  Sometimes they seem to disappear and I have to close and reopen the program to get them back.  It sounds like you have a more difficult problem?

Both my iOS cams are not being detected automatically, I had to add the ip addresses manually every time I restarted the software. Crap, but manageable. 

 

 

To me it looks like nobody tested this before release. I use split screen cameras on the main display and trajectory view on the second screen. Now I have the useless double data fields on the main screen that makes the camera windows smaller, and in trajectory view I don’t have the data fields on the right side anymore.

Been having camera problems for a while but I'm on FSGolfPC... 

My two high speed cameras are either crashing the software randomly and/or disappearing for no reason (I checked USB analyzer util and the cams are not "disconnecting"...)

The latest version 25.0.0 was supposed to fix my Video replay speed in fact but as usual it only introduced more issues..

I have a bigger problem problem with their gigantic font taking half my damn screen.

That and the annoying Environmental Optimizer top bar that could easily be toggleable as most people don't use it and definitely don't need it on the screen at all times.

I suggested a bunch of changes to them over the years and still waiting on those two (amongst others).

I noticed the changelog mentioned a Dark Mode but It's nowhere to be found on PC version sadly.. 

At least they publish a changelog which is better than 99% of companies these days. 😄

Have anyone noticed ios FS golf app crashing almost everytime at start after newest FS golf update.

I tried to uninstall app and install it again but same problem. 
Looks like only way is restart ipad before every session and then start FS golf app.

After latest update fs golf start to lost ”connection” to device. It is connected but not ready in session and won’t read shots. Starting device and fs golf again help a while but problem return quite quickly. 
Also during last session I got message ”a device model has change during session - close session and open new session”? 
There are many problems after last couple updates. Is it just my device or has others same problems?

Today I tried device on range and got really wild values. Device outdoor mode, setup same than allways and range ball selected. I got 5000 rpm spin with driver multiple times on normal shots as well as I got 10 meter height when ball visibly fly 30+ meters. Also couple standard shots which fly approx. 230 meters compared to range targets, device read 170 meter carry. Somehow looks like the device/software has been messed up in last 3 months. Before that I got really trustable values but now values are all over the place even thought shots are normal to me (pretty standard is 2200-2500 spin and height 30-35 meters).

 

I love when they develope new features but basically what I need is trustable original mevo+ pro package parametres.

My mevo+ software is updated to the latest revision and I also did a firmware upgrade recently and everything seems to be working perfectly.  You might want to contact customer service.   I have had good experience with them whenever I have needed help.

Ok, nice to hear that it is not general problem. Which version of device you have? I got very first generation.

I used to be able to plug in the Mevo+ to an outlet or external battery and run indefinitely without the battery going down but now it seems like an update change it to always use the battery no matter what. Has anyone else noticed this? Now I can only use it for an hour or two before it needs to be turned off and recharged, even though it’s been plugged in the entire time.

I always use mine plugged in.  I unplug it and then turn it off when I'm not using it.  When I use it again i plug it in and then turn it on.  So far this has worked fine and it stays charged while in use.

Yea this used to work for me but sometime over the past 6 months it stopped doing that.

Thanks for sharing FCC link... 

My Mevo+ is now 5 years old so I'd consider getting something new from them but only if I don't have to rebuy pro package and face impact... otherwise it's just a lot of money for nothing more than bling really. Won't make me a better golfer...

I just hope it's not just some AI crap deal or a repackaging with a new paint job because USB-C is not a game changer.. An ethernet port would be sweet though for permanent setup.. and if they upgrade the old Raspberry Pi Computer Board they use to something newer perhaps for faster response.. not that it's slow...
