I have seen some questions on Golf WRX about whether or not Labworx was still active. They indeed are alive and well, but apparently not posting much on Social Media - I wanted to do a bit of that for them. I just had two Scotty Cameron's done by them. The first one is a silver Select Fastback. I do not like chrome shafts and the putter was kind of bland - just a matte silver finish. If you send them back to Scotty Cameron, they will not give you a black shaft.

That crossed them off the list of sources for my customizations. I settled on Labworx. I did a Gold and Black theme. The golf color is Hi Life Gold. The results are amazing. Far exceeded my idea of what the putter would look like. It is awesome. When it looks awesome that is huge for me, and I putt better with it.

#2 is a Cameron Phantom X 8.5. I really liked the yellow - at first. Then it wore on me and I did not like it. I realized that I do not like prominent alignment aids on the putters. I want to just putt by feel and too many or too prominent alignment aids do not work for me. Red/Black is my favorite color combo. Had the shaft made black on both putters. The Phantom X got mainly Spartan Red - right over all the alignment aids. I was thinking about doing the lower rear step in black but figured I could always paint that later if it seemed like it needed that.

Well, the Phantom X is amazing as well. Unbelievable job Labworx - get out there and toot your own horn! :)

I have a green in my backyard and I putt out there a lot, so I go to test them out - they look great and are way better than new. I am planning on doing a post about the putting green since there was a lot of research involved and since I have had it for a little over a year, I have gained a lot of knowledge about things too look out for - like that Norway Spruce near the fence-line

Those look awesome - I really like the contrast look on the Fastback. I am thinking of refinishing a Scotty and been trying to figure out where to send it - Labworx was on my short list; along with Continental Golf. Did you notice any change in sound/feel after the putters were re-done?

No - I do not think the finish had any effect on the sound or anything else with the putters. Labworx was meticulous with this whole thing. I know it sounds strange, but I think that when you really like the look of a club you (at least I) seem to play better with it. These two look amazing to me and I think Labworx need to get going with the social media posting, but maybe they have too much business already :) It took about 5 weeks door to door.
