Old Timers (early to mid 90's) Where are They Now?

Understand. It's easy to forget the diversity on this board. The "memory-lane" reference got my attention. I've tried most of my life not to let accumulated "years" of experience direct my current frame of mind. Partly why I still play good golf and go to the gym, and get along with kids. People with old frame of mind are often skeptical, live on "memory-lane", don't go to the gym, gave up on golf and many ways, even having fun. Yes, I have memories going back to the 60's that people younger don't have, yet. However, people that actually know me away from work, have said he's a boy-scout type that grew-up on a farm with the 3-Stooges (look-em up.) Hit'em straight.

Yeah, I was going to say that I remember seeing Mo Cat on Seniors Tour events on TV back when ESPN was covering them using Jim Kelly as anchor, so that wasn't yesterday. I remember him winning some too.

Was it Lickliter or John Rollins who got pretty harsh towards Brad Faxon on one of the greens at Sherwood CC during the old Shark Shootout held there? I remember seeing it replayed on TV and had to wonder what kind of a jerk they had to be to do that. I get Rollins and Lickliter confused because for whatever reason I think of them both as not being very nice guys, though I can't really tell you why I have that impression.

Lickliter II. He was/is/always will be an a hole. For about 3 years, anytime he was on TV the announcers HAD to mention that he drove a Hummer for some reason.

It is called a senior moment perfectly excusable if 60 and above--- You find out the older you get the more frequent they occur---- But then again if you are under 60 I guess you could be a early bloomer--- Anyhow like I said the older you become the more frequently it happens

Man thanks for the research and the education for me. I know several lifetime members and have all the respect in the world for them. As for the organization itself I think you and I are on the same page too

Stu here is an article on Uresti and the PGA Club Pro championship issue. Omar Uresti understands criticism from win in club pro championship, but is dissappointed by it - Golf Digest

The part for me that stands out in that article is where Uresti says, paraphrasing here, "I give 'free' pointers to the members at Onion Creek where I play and practice". lol.
