Looking to get fit in North Jersey

Anyone got any places to recommend to go for a fitting (first timer) in North Jersey other than PGA Superstore or Golf Galaxy? Ive heard of Golf ETC in Morristown not sure if theres anywhere else I should consider. Thanks!

i've been wondering about him. their fitting prices seem reasonable but is it true they do the fitting on grass? i know there is a fitting bay at the range but don't remember seeing any grass part of the range there.

He uses an indoor simulator, the driving range and has a spot in the back of the range to hit from turf.

Easy to get into the city and go to True Spec as well

So far looking at NOVO Golf and Golf ETC but havent heard much about either

I have done two fittings at Novo Golf. Both were great. They have everything you can imagine for clubs and technology. You hit from a bay out into the range. Only downside was I felt they pushed the higher end clubs. But if you nix that off the bat with budget I’m sure they wouldn’t even have you hit them. I would definitely recommend them.

Have a buddy who did a hybrid fitting at Golf ETC. he was really happy with it. It’s all indoor and hitting into a screen so a little different than Novo. Depending where you live one the drive up to Novo can be a long one.

I’ve been to true spec in the city as well. They were good, but club builds are done in their Arizona location.

club champion in Hackensack, as I noted above, does fittings and builds on site. Occasionally if they are overwhelmed, their Chicago location will do the build, but I have been there a few times and they have always built on-site

Novo is great but pricey. State of the art fitting facility. They will push Epons but if you know what you want brand wise it is a great place for fitting

i'm not a fan of bill @ novo golf but i know there are some people who like him

club champion in hackensack is solid but wasn't super impressed

i think loren @ true spec midtown is one of the best - he'll be there starting in July

pete's @ golf & body also gets good reviews though i've never been
