cheap iron head set for quarantine build??

Im really bored... Ive got a set of shafts and plenty of grips... anyone recommend a decent looking and playing cheap iron head set to build up to pass some time? gotta be a .370 head. Something from Hireko maybe?? Anyone got anything they want to get rid of?? I'll keep them around for another backup and for my brother to use the couple times he comes to visit and we can get out. Thanks!

Don't know how cheap you're looking for but I really want a set of Maltby DBM's from Golfworks...there was a set of heads on the BST the other day. If I was trying to go even cheaper than that, I'd stalk ebay for a set of 712 CBs or something like that.

Edit: completely forgot you said .370...in one ear and out the other. But if you're really bored you could ream the heads though to accept a .370 shaft.

I built a couple for testing [4i and 6i]. They are a nice head with amazing feel and are pretty forgiving on not so flush shots. If I hadn't come across a smokin deal on a set of used JPX919's I would have continued to build a full set of the TS2's.

Note: Universal hosel accepts both .370" parallel tip and .355" taper tip iron shafts.

Don’t leave out value golf as well. They are actually the owner of the “pinhawk” single length model of club heads. They just sell to hireko and monark.

The Acer XV Pro heads are fantastic. You may need to search around a little to find a company that has them in stock but it's worth the effort. They are medium sized with medium offset. Sort of like a ping i series iron. 431 steel for good feel and bendability. I made a set and loved them. The finish is polished stainless so it will scuff up pretty easily but a scotchbrite pad will take care of that. Highly recommended.

No idea if they are any good, but for someone who plays 2-3x a year I think these Acer XVs would probably be okay https://www.hirekogolf.com/golf-components/clubheads/golf-irons/acer-xv-iron-clubhead.html. Look to be quite a bit of offset and a wide sole with perimeter weighting, exactly what a bi-annual player needs.

If you want something name brand you could probably pickup a circa 2004-2007 iron set from any of the big name OEMs for less than $150 on eBay or 2nd swing right now.
