I have used the non-at version and didn't like it. Previously, I had used the Kangaroo AB, batkaddy, and the cart-tek. Kangaroo was loud, bulky, and just not as nimble. The others are just too narrow. The MGI is really nice but it's as narrow as cart-teks and batkaddy. The courses I play has a lot of rocks and humps and these carts would tip over side ways maybe 4-5 times a round. Alphard e-wheels attached to Rovic swivel front wheel is the best. Still far from being perfect but it's the most stable, almost as stable as Kangaroo and it's quiet.

I'm sure this will be a dumb question, but how do you remove the battery on the Navigator AT? I received mine yesterday, charged the battery and remote, and installed the battery this morning to test it out in the backyard. Everything works great, but I cannot figure out how to remove the battery. Is it just brute force? I feel like I'm having to exert too much force to remove it, so I stopped and decided to check here to see if there is some secret lever I'm missing.

There is a lever at the top of the battery. Pull it up and disengage the battery. Take a look at the MGI videos on YouTube. They have a tutorial for everything.

I did disengage the lever but still couldn’t remove the battery. And unless I’m missing it, none of their videos show how to remove the battery. Ultimately, it doesn’t much matter because I can charge the battery while it is on the cart, but it is odd that I can’t remove it.

Once you pull up the tab/lever it just lifts up. Might just be sitting a bit tight since it's new. The weight of it doesn't help too. good luck

Do you always have to control the AT to move or does it have a "follow" button?

It does not follow. It has remote control, downhill braking and gyroscope that keeps it straight, even on sidehills.

The only 2 "follows" I know of are the Caddytrek R2 and the Stewart X9. R2 works on RF and the Stewart works on BT.

I thought some of the Zips didn't come with remotes? How do those work then?

They have a button on the handle. The Zip Navigator can be operated without the remote as well. The REALLY cool thing with the Navigator is this:

If you use the remote, the gyros work at keeping the cart going straight no matter the incline. If you grab the handle and try to turn it, you will get resistance.

If you use the button on the handle to operate it, you can turn it with one finger lol. No resistance. The gyros are disengaged. VERY CLEVER.

Who is using a carry/stand bag on your Navigator? Are you having issues with the bag slipping? Have you tried the MGI block that goes on the base?

For a similar problem with my clic gear 3.5, I bought their base extender and the padded upper bag strap thing and it worked well. Just seeing what's out there for the MGI.

I am using a Ping Hoofer 14 and it works great. The top bracket hits the legs perfectly along the top for me and its stays in place. I sometimes have to adjust it but only after some really rough terrain. I also have a Ping DLX cart bag and find it does not fit as well. I am trying to sell that one right now.

I recently switched to a Kahma C20 bag and it fits perfectly. They are hard to find bags, but if you can find one, I highly recommend it.

Cool. Yeah, I have only used the cart for a quick nine the other day so far so there’s still a lot to figure out. It’s awesome that’s for sure. I changed from a Sun Mountain 2.5 to 3.5 and it seems to fit much better. How about the bottom bag bungee? Can you tighten it at all? It just seems a bit worthless since it doesn’t really fit around my bag snugly.

I haven't tried to tighten as it is snug on the Hoofer. I would think there has to be a way similar to the top bungee.

Unclip it and tie a knot. Put it back on. That will make it shorter.

I recently sold my Zip Navigator to upgrade to the Zip Navigator AT. The big difference is the front end. Two independent wheels spread further apart. There is no question that it offers more stability. The front wheels are larger and are removable. The other difference is this one is just black, where the Original Navigator had some cool blue accents. If anyone is considering an MGI, just do it. You will not be sorry. And by all means get it at Costco. With all the freebies it comes with, you are getting Way More fro your money.

I haven't had the same issue (the bottom bungee fits snugly around the bottom of my bag), so I don't have personal experience with your issue. However, my bag sits perfectly on the bottom and the ride of the AT, even when going over rough terrain, seems smooth enough that I'm not sure how useful the bottom bungee is. As long as the top of your bag is secure with the upper straps, I wouldn't worry too much about the bottom strap.

I have now had a few more opportunities to take out the Navigator AT. It's awesome. Walking with no carry or push makes such a difference on those uphill holes near the end of the round. I will say the remote is a huge help. In fact, I don't know what someone would do without one. Like how do you control the cart if its ahead of you????? I use the handle part when steering over curbs or through tight or crowded areas. I did have a tip over on the side of a hill, LOL. I don't think it was due to being top heavy, more just carelessness on my part. I also swapped out my SM 2.5 for my 3.5 and it seems to fit better on the cart. On the cart itself there is really no storage. The cup holder is fine. It will hold just about anything. I bought one of those Clic Gear rangefinder/valuables case that fits onto the plastic button clips and that's helpful to fit some extra stuff in there if you don't want to always go to your bag. Anyway, it's not really a full on review but just a few positive observations after a few rounds.

Just wanted to reply to a few bag questions. I have been using a Ping Hoofer. The bottom fits great but the legs do extend from time to time. It got irritating so I went looking for a better bag. I always like a stand bag for my range time. I tried a Sun Mountain and it is possibly the worst on the MGI due to the foot on the bottom. I tried and Ogio and it was basically the same as the Sun Mtn. Someone had mentioned the Bag Boy and MGI partnership. Well they were right. I grabbed a Chiller Hybrid and it works. The bottom foot fits right into the slot on the base. I thought the top legs were in the way originally but if you get the bottom right, the top arms and bungee slip around the bag perfectly. Solid as can be and a pretty good bag for the price too. I would think the chiller cart bag would be even better. Bag Boy definitely has designed these bags to fit the MGI.

Good to know. Yeah, I've been using SM bags and they're serviceable but not perfect by any means with the way they fit. I'll check out Bag Boy. Also have been deliberating Vessel just because those bags are awesome!

Has anyone modified theirs to put a cooler bag on it? I currently have the clicgear cooler and doubt it would connect without some modifying.

I've put a Sun Mountain Speed Cart cooler on mine - the handle at the top velcro's open so I hang that off the upper bag support and then use the lower velcro straps on the cooler to connect to the underside of my bag where the umbrella strap is to keep it from swinging back and forth as it moves

. It's not perfect, but for now it works.

I got mine and have done 2 rounds with it. Paid the $1599 full boat from Costco, figuring if I don't like it, it will be easier to return.

What I like:

my Sun Mountain 2.5 doesn't fit that well and turns to one side and needs adjusting several times during the roundthe cart has tipped over multiple times - I have sent MGI and email. Wondering if my bag is simply too light and I need to weigh down the front. Last round, I had a big water bottle in the cupholder as well as I hung a lunch bag with some beers off the top cradle before putting my bag on, so it was "top-heavy" - still, 3 times, it fell over backwards and dumped my clubs on the groundI agree with other posters that the bottom bungee seems worthlessI have not gotten it to where it tracks straight when I'm holding the handle. I guess I have to find a perfectly flat place to let the motor adjust itself.no storage, so no place to put the accessoriesOne note - I didn't know the 5th wheel could be extended further out, so that may help some, but the fact that the cart does wheelies virtually every time I get it going tells me the weight balance is not right and I need to weigh down the front.

I'm going to try a different bag and maybe weigh the bag down at the bottom with some ziplocks full of sand or something. I'm still optimistic that this is a game changer in terms of not being totally wiped out at the end of a round.
