Aldila Rogue Silver Question

I currently play an Aldila Rogue Silver 70 in my driver and like it a lot. My question: What is the difference between a Rogue Silver and a Rogue Silver with either 110 or 130 MSI in the name?

Rogue silver came in 110, 125 and 130 msi

 

110 and 125 were different based on materials, but profile was similar. Though 125 took a bit more to move.

 

The new 130 is quite different (as all the new versions are). The new versions are very good as the white bumped out my trusty blacks, they are just different

Different type of carbon fibre. The 130 is the stronger of the two so I would expect the 130 shaft to be stiffer.

Stronger doesn't mean stiffer. It's about how the material is used.

I used a 110 Silver for more than a year and then got a 125 and swapped it out. Stiffness and bend profile was basically same, but the feel improved slightly (which I quickly forgot about.)

So if I’m understanding you guys, my rogue has the 110 on it that’s the first version and others are subsequent updates shafts?

Not quite (this gets confusing).

The first gen Rogue Silvers came in 110 and 125, and as was said above, the 125 was the "premium" version with the 110 being the less expensive, stock OEM one. The difference was materials and a slight difference in profile (125 butt stiffness was a little higher).

Now we have the Rogue Silver 130 which is the next generation of the 125. Stiffer still in the butt and lower butt sections but similar throughout the rest of the profile. Those differences plus the materials will likely make for a different feel overall. We also have the "2nd Gen Rogue 110" along with it, ostensibly as an update on the less expensive OEM offering, but the only real difference spec wise appears to be butt diameter (smaller with the 2nd gen). How that translates to profile differences, I don't know. If your Rogue 110 has the newer graphics then that is the one you have. If it doesn't, then you have the original version (still a great shaft).

How can you tell if you have a gen 1 or gen 2 shaft in 110 msi as just purchased one second hand but can’t which one I have??
