I didn't find any and at the time I built it there wasn't a whole lot of info online apart from the instructions for a USGA spec green.  I got most of my info from a couple friends who are professional greens keepers.  Other tips came from thelawnforum.com .  I'm pretty happy with how things progressed.

google is your friend in constructing greens, but you do need experienced help esp a course superintendent who is interested.

Disease and issues are unique to the ,micro climate the green is located

The cost of education is high (like disease pests etc)

Exactly this!  I find there is more information available now online than when I started back in 2020.  There is even a Facebook group now for people with back yard greens though it's slowly being taken over by synthetic green posts.  From what I see, there are a lot of people who want to build a green but aren't prepared for the effort it takes to keep them alive and I'm guessing that most fail within the first year or two.

Well, maybe you do have to be a bit 'nuts' to keep a back yard live green?

What a great thread! Thank you so much for sharing all of this. It's a lot of work to take pictures,post,write things up,etc and you have done an incredible job here.

Here is a time-lapse view of my mowing and rolling process. A cut and roll takes me about 12 minutes. Rolling after a cut speeds it up by close to a foot I'd say.

And the resulting 15 footers after backlapping my reel and dropping the cut height to around 0.125". Things are rolling pretty great.

10 on the stump so it hurts to aerate and top dress 

put a crap load of sand on it

Inter seeded with Oakley bentgrass which was overall top quality on latest ntep

Nice.  I plan on getting mine put to bed on the weekend.  I'll mix my fungicide with sand and spread.
