Same here, going all in on this shape, no defaulting back to old faithful shapes. Hopefully I can take advantage of Josey's talents and really make this one something special.

I’m checking everyday for updates on the putters that got the call. Help a putter ho out with some MackMade milling

I'll update on mine, I may have drove Josey mad for a few hours with the design. The original plan of using the Maple head has been scrapped, the head is too small for what I want/like. I figured stretching the Black Creek would be too much. I then said I'd be willing to go full custom but Josey countered with the Hudson head just with some mods to it. 

 

I'm honestly just after the Fleetwood look at address, don't care if the putter has a square toe, rounded toe, high toe, whatever and the more that I think about it this may get my idea of Fleetwood inspiration with MackMade flair to work. Don't necessarily want or need an exact copy of the Fleetwood since those have so much hand work on them they all vary. 

 

Just waiting on a design update, if it has the look I like will finalize a few details and hopefully see it on the mill. The other thing is I now need to change my sole design and name I wanted to dub it lol.

Top is the Hudson bottom is the Fleetwood. 

 

 

Obviously will be in LH but I just want a different look at address shape wise from your standard Anser and Anser 2 shapes.

I’m sure you explained it in detail what you wanted and sounds like you had good discussion. I’m sure he will get it darn close on the beginning design. He’s damn artistic and seems to have a very good vision of what people want. Can’t wait for more updates

For sure I explained I got too tunnel vision on the Fleetwood shape and just explained it's more the look at address than anything else and I think that was the "ah-ha ok" moment for both of us. Right now I'm just letting him do his thing on the design side and when I get an update will go from there, I'm not worried I know it will be nice.

I think the design adjustments are a normal part of the process. Happened with me too. In the end the final result was better than my original idea anyway. Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!

Oh definitely I'm sure it's just to get every customer the perfect putter they want and it's not always as simple as first design and go.

Cavity inlay, lots of real estate back there for me. Josey sent me a video of the inlay being milled and it was just sparks flying.
