Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour Golf Shoe review

More narrow than the AM1. As the other poster mentioned, I also find that my feet hang over the edges of the midsole as well. I’ve had this happen on past Nike running shoes. Taking them out for their first round this weekend.

I got a pair last week in Wide of ndc. I absolutely love them. I have been wearing AM1's almost exclusively in black, grey, and no denim allowed. Great shoe. Then I kept hearing great things about the Code Chaos, so I picked up a pair of those. Another great shoe. Unbelievable sole comfort, but they don't breath super great. Anyways, I always wanted to try the ZIT's and was hearing mixed reviews. Everyone said they ran narrow so I ordered wide.

I couldn't be happier. I have them in black. They look amazing. Are way more comfortable than I thought, and I like that padding that hugs your achilles. I'm hesitant to get the white yet, mainly because I had white AM1's and never wore them, but, this shoe is great. The grip is really good. I think it's the most stable shoe I've worn in a long time. I've worn these in all four of my rounds since I got them last week. Absolutely love them.

LOL, these are ridiculously bad in terms of fit. I guess a wide would work but I have never, ever worn a wide. I haven’t tried a shoe on this tight since the TP. You can see my left toes scrunched in on the second pic. In the third pic, you can see how insanely pointy they are. I’m a 13, FWIW. Just for scale, here’s a side by side with the 270 which is also snug but noticeably wider and a touch longer. What a huge disappointment. It’s too bad because it’s a sharp shoe.

Order shoe stretchers from Amazon. They're blue with width and length adjustments. Leave shoes in for a few days and they'll be golden. I like these shoes so much I have to do it to 4 pairs this weekend. 9.5 w boas are perfect, 9.5 a little tight so they get stretched. I stretched a pair of magnolia LCV2. Nike somehow sent me a 9 in a 9.5 box. They now fit.

Spike wear is pretty good. Feels pretty good. I think it will be fine based on my use. They clean pretty well after the round as well. I feel they breath better then most shoes I have. Which is also why I wont wear them with morning dew. I can feel it start to get wet.

Wore them for the first time today and these shoes fuq. I was worried about the width, but walked 18 and I had no problem. Sliiiiiight rubbing on my right Achilles area but nothing to write home about.

Bought a pair of the pro and tour versions. Both black. 1/2 size up. They fit good but snug. Has anyone tried to return a pre-worn pair of these to Nike? I’m tempted to try their return policy but want to be sure. I want to give these some live action before determining which pair to keep.

You can wear them, beat them up for 30 days, 60 days I believe during the pandemic, and then send them back for a full refund.

For sizing, how do the ZITs compare to TW (17, 71, 71FF) shoes?

I usually wear size 10 in Nikes after reading how these are narrow I bought both 10 and 10.5.  No chance 10 would fit.  They felt small in length and width.  10.5 width felt fine but was a tad long.  I've played over 10 rounds in the 10.5 now and they are by far the most comfortable pair of golf shoes I've owned.  I have about 30 pairs in rotation and keep trying to find excuses to wear these now.

I usually wear size 11 in nikes. On occasion ill wear 11.5. Ive found after ordering this shoe that a 12.5 is what fits me. Ive ordered a few other newer nike golf shoes releases and find Im having to order up a full size to 1.5 sizes more. So if youre looking to order go bigger. They are pretty dang snug too. Just reordered for the wide.

For those that have ZIT, does the tongue bunch up when you tighten the shoe? I bought wide, and think they feel fine (hesitant to go to regular) but the tongue definitely bunches up somewhat when I tighten them. Not sure if that is a sign they are too big or not.

My white ones, yes. My Brooks ones, no. Both size 12 wide.

Has anyone considered removing the spikes? I wonder if that would help with reported balance issues.  I like the black version, but the number of negative reviews on width and balance give me pause.

It's not the spikes so much as it's the super narrow sole plate.

 

I think the spikes work well. I hate walking down slopes in mine, but on flat ground the '21 version is pretty good.

How do you tell the difference between the 20 and 21 versions?

Most of the time the 21s have a jagged swoosh on the side instead of the normal swoosh.   It's not necessarily a given though.

They cut off the circulation in my right foot. I’m literally going to take a razor and create a tongue instead of the one piece as it is. I’m replacing them anyway so it’s worth a shot. If not forgot hey issue they’d be perfect. I just wish they’d offer a version with a stand alone tongue.

Anyone a frequent runner that has tried out the ZIT? I have been wearing the Epic React 2 Flyknit shoes for years now on my daily runs and I LOVE them. They appear that they should have a similar fit construction as the ZIT and if they are I may have found the perfect golf shoe for me.

 

Thinking of buying a pair of the ZIT but was curious if anyone has had any experience with the 2. Picture of my running shoes below for reference

You're going to need to try the ZITs on for yourself. It doesn't really matter whether anyone has tried the running shoe or not. The ZITs have some serious design/comfort/fitment issues for a lot of people (and they're great for some other people).

I have these runners and hit balls indoors with them. Always have thought building a golf version with appropriate golf sole traction would be a good idea.
