2020 Queen B 6 SBS Putter - Anyone Try it yet??

I played the first scotty Squareback and loved it probably 10 years ago or so.

I've tried other fat blade models (2 squarebacks since then - they were horrible).

The 2020 Bettinardi looks unreal but can't find it in person and would have to purchase it blind - anyone try it yet? Any reviews?

I actually have this one being shipped as we speak. Wife got it for me as an early birthday present. I’ve rolled the QB6 in store not the SBS and it has the same milling, weight and soft carbon as the SBS. I just like the SBS because of the color and it being a slant neck. The whole Bettinardi QB line is so good and I’m glad they finally introduced a slant neck after only having single bend in the QB6 model. Once I get to use it....after 7/6 I’ll come back and post my findings (for real) lol

Alright so preliminary testing so far on the putter. I am not allowed to take it out of the wrapper or use it until 07/06 per the wife because its a birthday present but I did roll it with the plastic on on my PuttOut mat and the thing is money. After trying the FIT Face, Flymill & Super Flymill that Bettinardi offers the Microhoneycomb with Soft Carbon head on this putter hit the sweet spot. Not too firm and not too soft. Similar feeling off the face as the Toulon line of putters. Love the slant neck and the shape of the slotback is similar to the QB8 but has the familiar QB6 high toe. I think its a great putter for the price and gives a lot of the same features as their custom options or HIVE putters without breaking the bank. I think im going to put a KBS CT Tour matte black shaft in it for aesthetic purposes but its an overall great putter!

How does this differ from the QB8? I’ve got a QB6 in my bag. Putt with the gf’s QB8 when I hit putts right handed. Can’t decide which I like better

QB6 SBS has a slot back but has the same higher toe as a normal QB6 it’s not as box shaped as the QB8 is. QB6 has more of the 3 stem Jam style toe angle

Anyone know how many of these Qb6 SBS putters Bettinardi will actually have for sale? A thousand, ten thousand? Do you think this is the type of unique Betti issue that will increase in price over time if left in the box?

Can anyone comment on the difference in feel between the latest QB6 face-balanced vs. the SBS with slight toe hang? I love my QB6 but have always wished for a slant neck...however, I'm def more of a face-balanced putter guy. What's a man to do?

Did you replace the shaft yourself? How much did it cost to replace? Is the feel any different? I have a QB6 but just order a QB9 with dark head finish. I’ve always been drawn to a mid mallet head.  Your Putter looks great btw!

Thanks my dude! I did not replace the shaft myself had my local fitter to it! The KBS will give a smoother feel than the stock shaft and may or may not show additional gains in performance. I got it for looks and I think the combo of the kbs and carbon head made for a smooth feeling putter 

 

if you want to completely throw a wrench in the game get you a Stability Tour from BST. I was one to never really believe in them but the Stability Tour change my consistency for the better just my .02.

 

 

KBS wins when it comes to price vs BST. But performance id give it to BST and both are better than stock steel IMo
