Who does the best leather headcovers

Love the designs of my Iliacs, and they "weather and age" well, but if thickness is your thing, then you will also be very let down by Iliac. I think they're def protective enough, and like I said, they look great the more you use them.

Rose and Fire makes "thicker" covers if that is what you are after. Great quality too.

Sad Dormie went retail likely for some increased $ With a contract for x#### of covers. I’m canadian and wanted to support but their quality of the one bought (not from golf galaxy) Was very disappointing and in line with the above comments. I Would not spend my $ on them again . Thin leather and I just expected a lot more for the price point. Lots of great comments on this site and Toronto golf nuts but I sure wasn’t impressed.

Cru leather is unsurpassed. I also like Robert mark. A couple examples of sone of mine. I have 4 sets of crus and only this fairway and a putter cover from Robert mark.

@golfunderpar18 and I have done a few deals on Cru covers. I fancy myself somewhat of an informed consumer of covers and Cru is absolutely where it's at.
Iliac: Latin for BIG MONEY WASTED
RMG: 1-10 good cust service
Seamus: How much for fabric barrel covers???
Headgear: Good quality. Sometimes not a fan of returning emails.
Cru: Kills it almost every time. The reserve covers allow a ton of color combo and Adam and his team will even go a bit custom as long as you have a good idea of what you want.
Girly Golfer: another top notch killer and makes the best putter covers on the planet. Rumor is Tiger's putter cover is a rebranded Girly Golfer she did for Bespoke. She also does stock cover for Flanigan Bilt Golf.
Links and Kings: very good quality and closest to big box type experience regarding design build.
Dormie: Oh my! I spent how much for lambs leather and it's that thin. However, some of my customs from them have been a good gauge of leather but, Man, do you pay for it.

I agree on Headgear. I am looking at them as well, but took a few days to get a return email from them. They do seem to make nice covers with a lot of custom options.

Eliot gets my vote. In the past few years I've turned roughly a dozen or more golfers onto Eliot covers and not one has had anything negative to say. And considering how people like to b**** about anything, I find that a credible endorsement.

Not sure about leather, but I think the Swag headcovers are really high quality. I have three of them. It’s a bit difficult to find sensible designs though. 
 

Also picked up a tour version of the Titleist TSR headcover. Maybe it’s leather unlike the one you get with the club. Seems to be much higher quality, but also already showing some wear in the edges and it has barely been used. 
 

There is one major problem with these higher quality headcovers. They can easily increase the amount of bag rash on graphite shafts, as they are heavy and make the clubs move more in the bag.

Iliac golf. new ownership, new processed. best quality leather headcovers. they are more on the traditional side though. if you want something edgy...prob not ideal. 

i have a df2.,1 custom incoming as well. ive had many other companies as well. swag, robert mark, hatch, dormie, ace of clubs. iliac is the best imo and then swag comes in 2nd for me in terms of quality.
