Placemarker.  Please help us and others to develop an authoritative document on how to post in the BST and what to avoid and do for the greatest success. 

 

1) Read the BST Rules

2) In order to post a For Sale Ad, one must have  75 posts, but no post runs (max10 per day), to access the BST

• Or, pay $5 through the WRX forum store link at the top of the forums 
• Or, be a ClubWRX member.

3) There is no charge to post in the WTB forums. 
4) To pin your ad near top of Ads, One MUST buy $5 BST fee as well as this $10 pin fee.

5)  The $5 fee to post is time based. 

• The initial time is 3 days to post an ad from purchase date.  Ad must be placed within 30 days of purchase or funds forfeited.  If an ad is removed, an ad can be reposted with corrections, within the 3 day period or fund forfeited.  All questions about removed ads must be referred to gwrxmod or asked in the Classifieds Help Forum.
• If one can post an Ad and sell the same day, wait 24 hrs per the rules between closing and open a new ad, then another ad can be placed on day 3 or ad fee extended for discount savings. 
• If assistance is needed to archive an Ad after poster closes it, then report post for mods to move.

1. Verify you have no open Ads.

 

2. Verify No open or closed Ads in Classifeds. All previous ads should be in BST archive. 

3. Start a new Ad.

After paying the fee to pin an Ad for 7 days, please send a PM (personal message) to @Gxgolfer via the GolfWRX forum personal message system to have the ad pinned with the paid invoice number.   Please do not email.  The Pin fee is not inclusive of a $5 insertion fee if the user is below 75 posts or not a member of ClubWRX.  Details below...

 

The $5 Fee can be associated to this purchase if the Ad is not already posted.

 

It's an additional $10 per week for a maximum of 30 days. Weeks cannot be prepaid.  The limit is 10 items and items cannot be added to the pinned ad, even if unpinned and repinned.

 

The additional $5 insertion fee can be purchased from the store separately and added to the Cart. ($5 Paid Ad + $10 pin fee = $15 Total in cart.) LINK TO PURCHASE BOTH HERE.

 

Once an Ad is pinned, items cannot be added to a pinned Ad, even if unpinned and requesting to pin the ad again.

If your post is taken down, by default you will not be given a reason per the posted rules. If unclear why removed and after reading the BST rules:

1. Ask and refer questions to the BST ad help Forum and pm gwrxmod 
2. Funds for paid fees may be forfeited for any rules violations.
3. BST moderators have final say.

Ok. So if I go into the "store" and pay the $5 I should see a "start new listing" button when I go into the classified section? It should not appear until the $5 is paid?

I am trying to get to where I can post clubs for sale on here by meeting the 75 posts requirement eventually.  I was at only 6 posts and have made 10 posts in the last week but my posts number still shows 6 on my profile.  Am I doing something wrong?  Thanks-

Reminder:

 

If an ad is removed, a corrected ad can be reposted within 3 days of purchase or funds forfeited.  Please address all questions to the Classifieds Help forum and send a pm to gwrxmod for clarification.

 

Unless its a post run or some other egregious action, posting rights are not removed without prior warnings per the forum rules.

I'll likely never have enough posts to qualify for free ads. I've paid the $5 fee once in the past, and sold an item. I'm unclear about something: Does my fee paid ad run for only 3 days? If the item hasn't sold in that time, does GolfWRX: 1. take it down?  2. expect me to take it down?  3. bill me additional $5/3 days until I take it down?

You have 3 days to place the ad after you pay. 
it stays up until you close it or the software automatically moves it to the archive, which is typically after it has been active for 30 days

I think I am reading all of the rules correctly here, but have a question on payment for the $5 ad;

 

I paid for a $5 ad and received an invoice confirmation. I then went and posted my ad in classifieds. After that I received an additional invoice for $5 with a different invoice number. 

 

Am I missing something with regards to the rules and how to use? Do I just ignore the second invoice number since I already paid $5?

 

I initially thought you had to pay $5 every 3 days after reading further, but thanks to Unteachable's response above, I know that isn't the case.

GENERAL RULES

- Pinned listing fees are $10 per week. Please PM Gxgolfer After purchasing in store. Pinned listings may have up to 10 items and additional items may not be added to the listing.The maximum period of time for a pinned listing is 30 days and ALL BST and Board Rules apply.

- Sellers must combine their listings and cannot post new listings unless their previous listing is closed or deleted. Repeated improper reposting of listings may result in suspension of forum rights.

- MEMBERS MUST CLOSE THEIR OWN LISTING once the item(s) is sold, traded or no longer available by clicking on the >>>"Moderation Option"<<< button and Lock. LISTING RULES

• No selling of items won through GolfWRX Offerings, Contests or Testings.
• The BST is for personal use only. Items may not be listed for your business or for a friend. There will be absolutely no unauthorized commercial postings, bulk selling, or liquidations of inventory.
• Listed items must be golf related. Clothing must be golf clothing, dress shirts/pants etc are not considered permissible for the BST. However, electronics that are commonly sold in golf stores - such as portable golf speakers, golf GPS and laser rangefinders and accessories commonly used to record your swing - are acceptable. Determination of what items are "golf related" is in the sole discretion GolfWRX Marshals and Management.
• All items must include a sale price, including items listed "For Trade".
• All items must include in-hand photographs that clearly show the items being listed. Small or blurry images in your Listing may cause it to be removed without warning. No watermarked images from Ebay or similar type hosting services are allowed.
• Members are allowed ONE open listing with a maximum of 10 items. All individual items count as one “item†– selling in lots is not permitted. The only recognized exceptions are:
• a. Matched iron sets up to 10 irons
  • Wedges, even when sold as a set, count as individual items;
• b. Matched grip sets up to 13 grips - only ONE GRIP SET PER LISTING;
• c. Matched sets of iron shaft pulls up to 10 shafts;
• d. Golf balls in original packaging (Dozen or 15-pack = one item per pack) balls sold as individual sleeves count as one item per sleeve. Loose lots of golf balls (used or new) are not allowed.
• No item may be relisted within 30 days of the start date of the original listing.
• Members are entitled to only one listing per 24 hour period. Members must wait 24 hours from the time they close one ad before they are allowed to open another one. Violations will be deleted without warning.
• Absolutely no selling of new uninstalled shafts. Shaft must be butt cut or tip cut, prepped and tipped.
• Absolutely no negative comments.
• No advertising of "Gifting" or other means to circumvent payment service fees.
