Have you tried Qi10? Seems like a lot of the tour pros have gone back to it for some reason, but hard to argue if the Qi35 is working really well for you!

I've been curious to try the Qi35 core (maybe LS but probably not) driver. Just picked up a Qi35 3 wood and love it. Used to be a TM woods loyalist back in the day, their drivers just really look good to my eye.

Yeah, I have a Qi35 Max 3W, and it’s the best 3-Wood I’ve ever hit.

 

So that was one of the things that made me curious to try the Qi35 Max Driver as well.

 

The previous Carbon faced Drivers didn’t work for me for whatever reason, but this one is light years better in my opinion.

 

Not surprising though….new technology always takes trial & error and time to work out the kinks.

I did. I tried 4 or 5 different versions of the Stealth line (a couple of 9* Plus heads, 10.5* Plus, 9* Standard, and 10.5* Standard if I recall correctly), skipped the Stealth 2 line, and tried a Qi10 Max.

 

I added the disclaimer a couple of times on this thread though that I bought the Qi10 Max Driver used, and I’m pretty sure it had a defective face…so really tough to compare apples to apples.

 

Like most people, I couldn’t get the Stealth lineup to work for me, and if the Qi10 Max head I had was defective, that speaks to the manufacturing issues TM has had.

 

But I picked up this Qi35 Max since I had a credit with one of my Golf shops, and it’s blown me out of the water so far!

 

We’ll see how it goes long term, but it looks to me like TaylorMade is starting to figure out this Carbon face thing, and it’s trending in the right direction.

Cant go wrong with Sim or Sim2 and Titleist is really good as well TSI and TSR are amazing

From my personal experience, I can definitely recommend the SIM2 Max, or the Qi35 Max.

 

I’m choosing the Qi35 Max for me, and what works best for my game…but what works best for you might be different. And obviously there’s a big difference in cost there.

 

Like I said before too, I think the Qi10 Max is a really good Driver potentially as well, but pretty sure the one I had was defective. Some great deals right now on the Qi10 Max though, so might be worth a shot to buy one of them new.

I appreciate this input. I am probably going to stick with Taylormade since I still have a few shafts for them. Unless I go hit the Titleist and just cant live without it... that is always a possibility.

I appreciate the input. I completely understand there might be differences, I am just trying to get a little feedback from someone who has seemingly tried most of them. Thank you for the reply and I might just go hit the Qi35 just to try it out, I have been avoiding it because I didn't get along with the stealth.

Totally understandable…happy to help my man.

 

In my opinion the Qi35 Max is between 1,000 to 10,000 times better than the Stealth…just an estimate, Lol.

Tyne H has been a great putter for me. Feel like anything inside 8” is automatic! Do you find that the toe seems to look bent in a little? Makes me feel like I have to have a decent forward press to make it sit square.

Yeah, the Tyne H is really good. Love the look, the feel, and the sound off the face.

I never noticed anything weird about the look of the toe personally.

 

Right now my go-to is still the Odyssey White Hot OG 7 S because the weighting and speed control is better for me, but I’ll give the Tyne H another chance if the Odyssey ever starts acting up, Lol.

I find all the same, only thing is my speed control is not as good as it is with my ‘13 Newport select. Considering throwing it back in the bag for a few rounds to see if it’s me or the putter

Gotta find what works best for you at the end of the day.

 

Especially with putters, so much of it is just what you like to look down at, and what gives you the most confidence.

Alive and well my man…just been busy with work, and working on my Golf game!

 

Yeah I agree…the Nike VR Forged Pro Combo are absolutely gorgeous.  Just finished my first range session with them and the performance is absolutely fantastic as well!

 

The only negative with them vs my ZX7/ZX5 combo set is there’s a noticeable drop off in distances, which I’m sure is just due to the “traditional” lofts vs modern lofts. But they check off every other box in a big way!

 

Will take them out for a couple of rounds over the next week and see which Irons will earn the starting spots in my bag.

you can aways get them bent to what your Srixon irons are.

Maybe I should learn from my mistakes and stop trying to fix something that’s not broken? 🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

 

The Srixon ZX5/ZX7 MK II’s have beaten the PING i200’s, and the Nike VR Forged Pro Combo’s this season pretty easily for me, so might be a sign to stop trying to replace them so badly and just keep practicing and dropping my scores.

 

The biggest Tournament of the year that I play in is coming up on August 1st and 2nd, so just focusing on that now and trying to peak and get a Championship! I Won my division in 2023, and then stunk it up and sucked last year, so hoping to get back in the Winner’s Circle for 2025! 😎👌🏽
