Tigers son on range today

Has some strong hip action like young Tiger to hit it far. Doesn’t turn hips much on backswing though.

Pretty good action and has similar if not identical mannerisms to his dad.  Will be cool to watch this weekend to see him on course.

 

I'd imagine the driver length is shorter, what does anyone think the actual length is?  40 inches?  I can't imagine him playing a standard length but I also don't know how tall he is.

 

Looks like he's wearing Roshe's, Zoom TW's not available in youth sizes?

Pretty good action for his age, I wouldn't read too much into his hip action, he still has a rubber band body after all and is probably just trying to hit it hard. Clubface showing a strong grip indicates the same.

Joh daly's son has a very solid fundamental swing and do does tiger's son. You'll see that this weekend. Charlie will get a lot of air time. His swing is really good.

Sucks that there are no fans allowed. That event is 5-10 minutes from my house and I've been every year since 2016 when my 6.5 yr old was bug enough to walk around the place. Even got my wife to go for 2 years. My 6.5 yr old is a tiger fan so he would have enjoyed seeing him.

but it’s like breeding from a champion racehorse. It’s not a given that that will produce a champion, because genetically lifeforms tend towards the mean. Tiger was a once in a lifetime putter,  would Charlie necessarily be so? Not to mention what is his work ethic likely to be like knowing he never has to worry about putting food on the table?

The odds are massively against him even ever getting on tour.

I'm not a geneticist but this doesn't sound right to me. I don't think two basketballers are likely to produce a jockey because they are reverting to the mean.

Already has one on the main page somewhere.  Proto irons and wedges it says.  Sim in driver and a copper spider x with ping grip.

Looks like he’s hitting a little cut with driver.  Quite rare to see a kid his age doing that.  Usually it’s a big loopy draw as the club swings the kid.  Takes more strength to hit the fade.  Great stuff.

One of my best mates on the golf course is a Tiger hater.  So I've enjoyed winning many bets during the comeback.  But the best part is telling the Tiger hater how much I'm going to love that he has to witness his son win a major too!

Well no, because a jockey isn’t the mean. But two very tall people won’t necessarily produve a very tall person. They’re more likely to, but it’s far from certain.

Totally agree on that; it's ridiculous.  Golf broadcasting in the U.S. overall is pretty bad when it comes to showing limited shots, limited golfers, and fixating on a few.  Don't they get it?  There is no drama for a fan if TW makes a cut on the number.  Who really wants to watch TW or any golfer for that matter playing well enough to barely make a cut and far from contention?  The only drama is for the network thinking ratings will be better if TW plays on the weekend so they can feed us nonsense about a comeback.

 

My mate is a Tiger hater since he apparently "cheated" when the fans moved a boulder, the over the top cheek kissing by the networks, and bringing non-golfers into the sport raising the prices of everything.  I try to stay off his lawn otherwise that could be an issue too 😉

I get where you're coming from. When Arnold Palmer played in his last Masters the TV coverage almost totally focused on Arnold on Thursday and Friday depriving golf fans from watching the rest of the players.

 

At the end of Friday's round Arnold announced that next years Masters would be his last one. 😩

It can be hard for other players during post-round interviews. The reporters would be asking Tour Pro x, who shot 66, how excited and in awe he was playing with Tiger, who shot 75.
