How do you find the project X in the Mizuno's?

Mizuno offers the Project X as a custom option if I'm not mistaken, at least it is listed on their website. I need mine with extra length and more upright so I have to order them custom anyways and they had them as a shaft option.

I love it. The only thing is it can be a little difficult to work, for me at least, but I need the accuracy more so it doesn't bother me all that much. When I catch though it's the longest Titleist I've hit. The look is better than anything out there right now too, imo.

Do college players get big equipment discounts or free sticks at all? I dont know what the NCAA rules would be on that stuff but Im sure you get appearal atleast. Oh and where do you usually tee it up?

The only stuff I can really get a discount on is Titleist/Footjoy stuff because that's the only company my coach gets a deal with. We are D3 so as far as paying for school and equipment goes we are pretty much on our own, though we do get shirts to wear during tournament play as well as bags with school markings. When I'm at home I play at Sweetwater CC, when I'm at school I play at two local munis/goat tracks, Starcke Park and Chaparral, as well as a course nearby called the Bandit every now and then.

Nice driver/shaft combo... I have the blueboard in mine and its pretty low launch for me and a cannon, so I couldn't even imagine yours.

Solid bag all around for sure.

I also have the MP-R's as well, love em, but they wear pretty fast.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I just got the MP-Rs set up the way I want them (at long last), and so far I am loving them, much more solid feeling than my old CG10 and 900 series were, and they seem much better out of a larger variety of lies. As far as the driver goes, it isn't really that low launch for me, but I am a very high launch player as it is and don't think I will ever hit a driver low with my normal swing (2-3 degree up angle on my driver swing). I have just accepted that and found a shaft that takes the spin off (I am usually in the 2200-2500 range) and that refuses to go left, which this one does. Couldn't be happier with this driver so far after adjusting to the weight of the shaft.

Nice bag. First time I have seen the Fli Hi- looks very nice, sort of wonder why they dont extend it into a full set, progressive offset, keep the chunky topline, might be a tasty alternative to the MX 25

I usually tell people I am a scratch. I don't really put my scores into any kind of handicap tracking system, but I usually shoot mid 70s or better, and have shot under par a number of times, so I just tell people scratch.

mozgolf- I know you can order sets mixed with the fli-his, but I don't know if I can see Mizuno going to a set like that with all fli-his, not sure how the short irons would be plus it seems like the 950s are sort of like that. The FLi-His are awesome though and they are surprisingly long, I can hit my 18* 245 easy when I catch it.

Did you get your F4? How is it compared to the F2? And how is Accra?

Yeah I got it finally the other day. Launch is a whole lot better than my F2 and it is way easier to hit off the deck. The Diamana in my F2 feels better but the Accra gives me a 10x better ball flight. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Really nice setup, with the modern classics. Love the irons, and can't tell you how much I like it all around. Good luck in any tournaments upcoming.

Did Titleist replace your D2?

Yeah they sure did. The only thing is they put my same shaft back in and they put it in so that the grip was about 20 degress open. So now it is no longer pured and the grip is way off, but I have a brand new head so I'm not complaining.

Yeah I have been very happy with them so far. So easy to maneuver and fairly long once I got comfortable with them.
