Another nice one - I still have an old Acushnet flanged Bullseye in my vintage bag.

 

Wondering if I can mill the face somehow with a laser engraver or the like.  Hmmmm.

 

Doubt it’s lasered - more than likely Damascus steel which creates that pattern when machined.

Definitely “Damascus” Steel.  There are a bunch of YouTube videos showing people make knives that look like the referenced putter.

Scotty Cameron Classics 1.5 Proto is currently in the bag. I have tried to game my Benti BB0, but something about the lightweight and carbon feel of the older SC does pretty well for me.

Thinking about getting this one refinished soon. Anyone have any recommendations on shops that could do good work? Not sure on the exact finish, something similar to the original but maybe a little less shiny. Open to any recommendations! Thanks!

Send it to NorCal.  They’ve got a ton of finishes

Give Scotty’s custom shop a call. They do this finish. There are also a few others that do it NorCal is one. I like it a lot more than the black.
