They do a great job getting deeper than everyone else, whether that means looking at dynamic loft / lie / droop - or quantifying mysteries like tipping.

They're a *little* too easy on some brands which they have relationships with, but I can't really blame them for that.  They also don't test things like Miura, PXG, Honma, Wilson, etc. very frequently - which is ok - but I wouldn't mind seeing a little more agnostic-ness from them on that front.

They also haven't done the Auto Flex vs Ventus Red R2 flex - both as long as possible test - which I've wanted for quite a while - but my fingers are still crossed.  😄

Overall - my favorite YT channel.

That's a great point about not much testing on those brands.  A little PXG driver stuff but not much else.  It would be awesome if they did poles to see what got tested.

I'm with you. Their content is so, so good. The Diamana video they did yesterday, the last 6 or so minutes of that swapping out driver heads to fit the shaft and the stark improvements that immediately came from it was so insightful. And they do that type of stuff all the time! I don't know of anyone better on YouTube. I've learned so much from them over this last year, and I feel like a much more knowledgeable golfer as a result. Now I can use a simulator or test clubs and I don't need someone to tell me what's going on. Great stuff, technical but accessible. Ian's knowledge and Matt's swing, and their rapport, is such a good combo.

They did the new PXG irons. If you watch the videos, Ian says they don't test as much Muria and PXQ because the price point puts it out of the range of the masses. There have been times they test a $700 shaft and he'll put it against a similar $200 shaft. I think he's genuinely trying to match up as many golfers as possible.

Yes! I didn’t even mention they do it all without doing that much clickbait. They do have some gimmicky titles from time to time, but it doesn’t seem to take away from the actual video when you get into it. I’m so thankful they exist.

I think they are the best on the internet. My only complaint is, I wish they had another tester they could occasionally use other than Matt. Nothing against Matt but he is so good and so consistent that a lot of the testing is neutralized because of how good he is.

it would be nice if they had a mid handicap with 100 mph swing speed or something they could throw in there occasionally just to see the testing from another perspective.

All that said, they are fantastic

Agreed.  It doesn't really matter what driver.  312 Carry, 327-340 total.  They have in the past brought in an aspiring LPGA girl and "Ron" and a guy on staff who is a 105 mph guy.  But if they put a camera in bay and let us watch all fittings, I would just watch it til 3 in the morning.

I liked the shaft puring video. Accra came out really strong. I also liked the wet wedge tests. It led to me getting a Glide 2 stealth which l love but would never have considered before their video. It's easier to say which videos I didn't love - basically their pre Matt videos without any ballstriking.

Fir sure, did the moisture thing seal the deal for you?

I liked that they switched dexterity to test GI clubs to see just how GI they were for less than ideal swings.

As a lefty, I can appreciate that they have a lefty to represent.

I was sold far earlier. I think the first shaft comparison flex I believe. It's been over 2 years. YouTube recommended them while I was watching Shiels bumble through yet another technical part of a video - Cobra F9 driver.

I remember seeing a few videos with a taylormade staffer lady golfer who had the most repeatable swing i have ever seen that they did. Think her name was Lindsay or Lesley?

I enjoy that their videos are so technical. Its all very specific and in depth and I know if I'm looking for something specific I'll find the best answer/info from TXG. As many have already mentioned, golf YouTube is nose diving in many ways so it's nice to know where to find trustworthy and accurate information.
