Going to try to stick with one single putter for the year rather than bounding around between several as I have in the past. After a fitting and some added testing, I think I've managed to narrow it down to two. Thoughts? Which of the two would you recommend?

 

And on another note, do you put any consideration or weight into the 'most wanted' tests by another site. For some reason I hate seeing my chosen putter on the bottom of their list, but at the same time I really put little trust in their testing. That might be for another topic, but how do they stress fitting and then do testing where the testers aren't fitted to a putter. is consistency rewarded...so that from 20' 10 putts all missing but within 2" is likely better than another who makes one or two but misses several more by 2-4' 

 

So which is it going to be....

I don't take much consideration in what another site does for testing when clubs are what I'm assuming standard specs for each company. So that mean a putter could perform awfully for someone but change loft and lie and it could be perfect.

I’ve had both and much preferred the Bettinardi 6.0. As someone who has had like 20+ putters over the last two years it’s still my favorite. 
 

The more I tinker with putters I’ve started to realize that whatever you can align best should be #1 priority. The only thing easier for me to align than the Inovai 6.0 is a lined 2-ball. The 6.0 has rails that are basically the width of the ball and it makes it really easy to see the path. The silver top line is great for aiming the face. 

#2 priority should be feel IMO. If you don’t like the feel you won’t stick with it. FIT face feels awesome to me 👍, Evnroll doesn’t. 
 

 

I also think there is something to pushing the weight more forward in mallets. I think they’re on to something real with that.

I no doubt prefer the feel and look of the inovai, but it seems sometimes i rely on on performance reviews and then end up second guessing myself. I think I need to change it up and go with what looks and feels good over another websites rankings, although I doubt I could go wrong with either choice. 

 

leaning towards the Inovai for now, especially after giving it a test at the store and loving the feel. much better than evnroll which felt clicky

To be fair Evnroll is a paid advertiser on that other site which heavily influences their ranking.

 

If you like the Bettinardi go with the Bettinardi, don't worry about what others say.

I’m like you this is always a tough one! My vote is the Bettinardi.

 

I got a Bettinardi QB6 as a gift towards  the end of June and I have asked myself why have I not tried them sooner. The feel is awesome on any Betti is what I am beginning to find out. But I will say as far as head shape, it really is a personal preference. I believe this is the case to as far as face balanced and slant/flow neck etc. I know, I know a lot of research is out there that will argue this. Even though I love my QB6.....I love a mid mallet and always find myself drooling over everyone I see. Scotty Cameron T22, Ping Arna, Toulon Atlanta...then I found a Bettinardi QB9 in the dark finish. I immediately have more confidence with this one , even though it has toe hang...which makes me make more putts. Block out the haters....go with what you love brother!!!!

One thing I guarantee you is in 3 months, you’ll be back to this forum and ask which 2 putters you should pick. And it’s not one of above. 😀

Either of those will do. It's the commitment to 1, and your technique, that's the hard part. After that it's performance practise that matters.

Never tried the Bettinardi, but evnroll is really not my favorite after testing them, the feels is just off.

same here..... the evnroll get great reviews and no doubt perform.... but it was the feel that initially put me off, especially compared to the Betti which felt unbelievably good.
