Pretty typical, same (as Velocore) but Mitsubishi chasing them $$$$ with "better smoother stiffer material"

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Tensei lineup. I've never had a bad experience from woods to hybrid.....if this is better than the OG Pro White I may have to give it a go

So I was in a Golfmart today and somebody had stuck one in a M6. Picked it up for $250. 
this is the only thread I could find on the shaft.

Yeah you def have a 1 of a kind Proto that fell off of a tour van or a MCA rep.

You could probably flip that on the Bay for 600.

Yeah no kidding. I feel like I always hear about these ridiculous finds in big box stores and any time I wander in there for grips/balls I just see used racks filled with filthy clubs they want way too much for.

I had actually snapped my Hzrdus yellow 6.0 shaft last weekend in a freak bag tipping over accident. 
so I was driving around all the different stores searching shafts for a replacement. 
and saw this

Ok guys- played my first round with the 1K yesterday. 
that spec sheet makes sense. It’s a stiffer profile than my Hzrdus yellow 6.0 

 

tough to give a full review off one round but feel like I owe you guys initial impressions 

 

the good:

-hit 8 fairways 

-saw some spots on the golf course I’ve never been before 

-everybody in my group saw the design and was asking “what is that?!”

-it even sounds solid. If that’s even possible from just a shaft change 

-definitely tight 

 

The less good:

-had to fight it more than I’m used to

-definite adjustment period 

-hit one OB, but my focus was lacking

 

Will report back. But I’m encouraged by the positives. 
and if I decide it’s too much for me, I’ll come here to offer you guys first crack at it. Deal?
