GT has that mildly soft mid that has that kick but no much. It is really on you if you want that subtle mid kick in that shaft or not. Prob best to stick with a profile you are already accustomed to. 

Makes sense. GT could be a good fairway option alongside 1k white. I’m also considering going 1k 60TX in driver and 1k 70X in fairway so that it has the same feel just with some extra kick.

my 1k white is going to stay in whatever fairway head i prefer -- it's been bulletproof for me and extremely consistent.

GT and D+LTD  are similar EI profile in the tip and mid but has a firmer handle so that's something to consider.  Not sure if you like moving the ball, but I also find the GT to curve less compared to the D+LTD.
