Bridgestone New Ball?

Straight from the gram. It screams shallow dimple to me which is a trait of the AVX and a few other longer balls out there. Thoughts? Maybe some Bryson input?

Am I making it up that it has and inverted bottom in the dimple or do other balls have that and I am so non detailed oriented that other balls have that little circular enhancement in them as well??

Bridgestone (Precept) has used a dimple in dimple cover on their various golf balls for the last 30 years or so. In the recent past DSG in their line of Top Flite balls also had dimple in dimple balls.

Saw that last night, really interesting dimple in dimple design. I'm sure it's a great performer like Bridgestone usually puts out.

Played with one of these top flites the other day on a par 3 course. Super impressed. Didn't mind it at all.

Gotta be the Bryson ball. He was saying he was gonna work on one after his disappointing masters. He was overspining so I think it’s gonna be low spin like the AVX but higher compression

I'm not sold on that yet but, anything is possible.

I don't know if I'd say heartbroken. I'll give any ball a chance. Not likely I'll play it but, it's fun to try new things. I'd like to think that dimple design can carry over to what is being worked on for next year.

The hash tag leads me to believe it’s not a Tour level ball however the dimple pattern is interesting.

On Bridgestones instagram there is mention in the story that they are releasing a new E12 model on Monday. Yeah, that's all.

It has to be the new E12 or a replacement.  The new E6 information dropped a few weeks ago, and the Tour B's are in the second year of the normal 2 year cycle.  If it's the E12 replacement, Bridgestone needed to address the cover durability.

 

I love how the E12 soft plays, but it has to be the least durable non-urethane/balata ball I have ever played.  The E12 could probably get a scuff from a putter.  I jump up to the BXS or RX just because they hold up so much better.

I signed up for the testing through Instagram and today I got an email from UPS that I have a package from Bridgestone arriving in 2 days. I hope it’s a dozen and not just one sleeve. Lol.
