What are we all using for the radar ? I got the ryp one and it is wildly inaccurate- going to return.

That 98 set went 98, 99, 98, 98, 96. Choked on the last swing. 

I have a progress check to do tomorrow or the next day. It’s 6 for 6 recommending Full Speed Spectrum for me. Twice I chose something else just for a change.

Hahaha I hate that. Lower weights are my lower percentile ones vs age group. Last session I had a swing PR three swings from end then hit same speed again and final one swung hard as possible and was two less mph to miss the set PR…. So devastating!

Would love to use putting practice feature, speed priming seems like it would be very useful before rounds/range, and feel like I would keep a program more for maintenance to not lose what I have been working hard for.

Definitely yes but will be cutting back. I play most of my rounds on Sat/Sun so I'll start taking Friday as an offday. I have seen real benefits to taking multiple days off per week but I will have to get better about that once its nice out and I could go out and hit balls every day if I wanted.

 

Monday - Fit For Golf app workout/Stack

Tue - Range day

Wed - FFG

Thu - Stack / Range day

Fri - Rest day

Sat - Golf

Sun - Golf or rest

Since starting the Stack, the first two milestones I set for myself were to see 170+ ball speed and 300+ carry on GC Quad. Finally saw both today for the first time in what’s likely more than a decade, but oddly enough not on the same ball. Now, to chase 180+.

Well I just completed foundations 

Now smart me, on my baseline test originally I used my Stack speed on my driver speed LOL so I ended up not in the original Full Speed Spectrum as I inputted Sub 100 driver speed

Completed my first program (Foundation) and progress check over the weekend.  AI algo recommended Full Speed Spectrum as my next program.  Up about 10 mph across the board with the Stack.  Curious to see how it translates to a driver with a ball.  I am chasing 175 ball speed and 115 club head speed - hopefully there sometime next year.  At the 195g Stack weight, after jumping up, I was at a plateau during Foundations for a few weeks around 98-99, but by the end started to creep up to 100-101.  My percentiles are better for the heavier weights compared to the lighter weights.

Has anyone seen anything like this before on their app? The program heard me say 150 instead of 115 and when going to edit it I accidentally hit accept. Well I went into the workout after and fixed it but it still shows an enormous jump on my progress. I can't get it to recalibrate to what it should be.

Progress check done and once again(7 for 7) FullSpeed Spectrum was recommended. 
 

Went with 8 sessions of Cruiser instead because I’m going on a golf trip next week and probably won’t bring the Stack with me.

Should be able to get their support team to fix it/answer any questions. They are very responsive.

Agreed, I had one issue with a workout and they went into my account and had it fixed in a day or so.

LETS GO!! Congrats! My local place doesn't seem to be super accurate at higher ball speeds but reads CHS (X Golf). 

 

So taking a decent drive tomorrow to a Trackman in hopes to break 180 (my first goal) and test out a new more tip stable shaft or two as my Atmos Black 7x is starting to feel like a bull whip at shin height.

LOVE IT!  I'm going to be joining the Stack System crew here shortly.  What speed measuring device do you use for training?  I'm thinking PRGR, as I don't really need LM functionality (have one here at the club). 

My goal this year is to match my weight & ball speed at 185, even if just for one day, just for one swing.  I've got 35lbs to go in one direction and 12mph to go in the other!

Saw some personal bests tonight during a TM session. For those just joining us, I was a 105/low 150s player in November. Started the Fit For Golf app workouts and Stack around the end of November. As much as I love Stack, I am admitting right up front I think its a straight 50-50 benefit between the two. 

 

111.3 average for the session. Admittedly I am trying to remember how to draw the ball so a couple got away from me to the left - but holy hell. Ball is the new ProV1 RCT.

 

 

Max ball speed for the session 167.9....so close to my goal of 170!

 

 

Went after one at the end, I think this is my personal best CHS by 2 mph.

I kid you not after some iron shots this was the first drive of the day and then also the second picture was my best CHS/Ball Speed. Was such a relief to hit my goal out of the gate and see that my average was higher than my max last year. Pretty pumped! Now to keep it up and focus on slowly adding in some mechanics as weather gets nicer and snow melts.

That's an easy question and the answer is YES!  But if you want to put the screws to me, ask me if I would prefer the matching @180 or 190.......

 

One would mean I'm in REALLY good shape and hitting it 20 yards further than I do right now, both of which I would be 99% super happy with.  BUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT.............190 ballspeed? Seriously?  At my age (44.75yrs), current level of fitness (got winded walking DOWN a hill today to a green), & flexibility (TPI mobility handicap of 36!!!!), if I get to 190 ball speed, I honestly don't care how much I weigh, I'm in.  

 

And I'll tell you all a quick reason why I love swinging hard, even though that is only one portion of the game: Speed doesn't go into a slump.  Putting does.  Short game does.  Iron play does.  And yes, accuracy off the tee does, of course.  But speed doesn't.  If I get faster, I get to enjoy that EVERY SINGLE ROUND of golf I play for the REST OF MY LIFE.  If I work on my putting and see some improvement, I might still go out and have a horrific putting day.  

 

But if I work on my speed, I'm 1000% guaranteed that when I tee it up that following week, I'll be faster and drives will be further.  

 

And that makes me happy to think about.  Very happy.

Haha I was a month in today. That was hit pretty well and ended up 15 yards left of center so still plenty in play but still 1.49 smash and only 96’ high. 
 

I’m looking forward to gaining more but even just “cruising” and some “fairway finder” swings were fast. Didn’t have a single swing under 118.9 mph and was hanging out in high 170’s on ball speed. That was almost more exciting vs breaking my 180 BS goal. 
 

knowing if I keep squeezing out a couple mph I could even upgrade shaft, cut it down a bit for more control, and have some solid cruising speed.

Newbie to thread, what is FSS? I just ordered the Stack so this thread has been very helpful! Thanks for the insight!
