I am just getting back on the wagon with TSS after taking a break due to ingraining some really bad swing habits. I am impressed with how many improvements they've made to the program. My subscription is about to expire--does anyone know what it costs to renew?

I started at 105mph for 195g, and have had one set so far in the foundations program where I have averaged 110, but this was a bit of an anomaly. I generally hover around the 105mph mark every time I do 195g. I'm on phase 3 of Foundations. Seeing steady progress on the other weights. 

Yes, I've seen that all the way through my phase 1 foundation. Was swinging 102 on my early sessions (5 and 6), but by session 14 which I have just completed I haven't been able to get back to it. Sometimes I'll get a 102 as part of a set, but it's a high outlier. In the 98-100 range for the last 4 sets in a row on the 195. But frustrating, as I'm getting quicker on the lower almost every set.

Just here to say I highly recommend completing “Return to Form” sessions whenever prompted. I learned the hard way and saw a dip in my results. I will not skip a RTF session anymore.

I completed a workout today and was at the end where you input your energy and strength levels when the screen locked up.  I couldn't move it or do anything.  I re-booted the iPad and when I opened the app it told me I was ready for the workout ... that I had just completed.  I'm guessing I'm screwed and there is nothing I can do except repeat the workout.  Anybody else had it lock up on them?

I have had it close or had a work call pop up and boot me and when I clicked workout I was able to resume where I left. Never fully just wasn’t there.

So I have finished the foundation and am 5 sessions into the full speed spectrum.. Started out at 101 and currently at 112 driver espeed.. I have absolutely noted increase in yards on the driver and even some golfing buddies have made mention of this (which is kinda awesome as I pretend I haven't done anything new).. 

 

But my question is, my current driver was via a fitting when I was probably at that 101 swing speed.. I haven't noticed that much of a difference in performance of the driver (but maybe a bit higher ball flight, which I assume is due to more spin with the faster club head speed).. So should I just stay with the current setup, or would it be worth it get fit again now that I am likely swinging faster.. Would hate to spend 350 on a shaft if it won't make much of a difference, but figured others on this thread would have experience with this. 

 

For reference, my current setup is: Taylormade Stealth plus, tensei white 5s  (starting to average 260 carry)

Do you have an “off-season” where you are at? I mean only being one program in I may hold off a bit. Awesome problem to have though. 
 

Temporarily you may be able to turn your driver loft down if you have that option. Could potentially have your driver tipped as well as something maybe a bit more cost effective at the moment. 
 

I had similar experience this past year though after a couple programs and had to get refit after old shaft felt like a noodle in downswing.

Still pushing along. With late fall/winter fast approaching just going into full strength program + adding in some more mobility/plyo work. Still have net up in garage and going to pair with some on ball work for as long as possible.

Does anyone with the PRGR radar ever have issues with obvious misreads? I'm trying to figure out why some days mine will clearly misread every second or third swing or something. The read pops up quicker than usual and reads way slow (like 40mph as opposed to 100mph). I feel like it might be picking up my hand speed, but trying to figure it out. I try different distances between my swing and the unit, on a box of golf balls, just on the floor, angled off to the side a bit, and some days it just doesn't want to consistently read correctly. Any ideas?

The impression I get when it reads way low like that is that it's picking up the backswing, I might be wrong.

Good thought! That could very well be the case. Have you found any way to avoid the misreads?

I haven’t managed to eliminate them but moving it further back from where I used to have it seemed to reduce them.

As PRGR will also read ball speed with an actual swing it thinks the backswing was completed and is likely viewing the stack as a ball instead of a clubhead.

Is anyone having shoulder issues when training with the stack system? I’m on week 9 and having shoulder flares up routinely the day after a session. Never have had shoulder issues outside of this during workouts previously.

A video I saw on Youtube suggested placing the radar at a 30-45º angle from the "strike" location.

Interesting! Haven't tried that at all. My setup seems to go wonky at times. Might be worth a try

How much does the baseline take it out of folks? Looks like my Stack will get delivered Friday (TBD if the PRGR I got off of Ebay makes it with the same speed) and I have a Scramble tournament on Saturday. Guessing I should maybe be patient and wait til post-tournament?

Nervous System and fatigue wise - Baseline wouldn't be really any different from hitting a bucket of balls. From what I remember there are not any MAX effort swings and just kind of full swings without losing balance. It will test your actual driver swings though without a ball, so make sure you have some room. This will be the only time they do that until the very end of the program (or you do some of the special sessions during the program). You won't be going long driver mode on these, just trying to get a baseline at different speeds for AI to program a starting point and pick out the top programs it thinks you should start.
