71, 71, last 2 days and 78 today. Hit 4 dang fairways. Putting was the best its been of those 3 rounds today which is a positive. Been doing lots of work on my putting as its always been a weakness.

Par 70. My Course HC is 14 so I shot my HC which I am always happy about. I left a lot of stupid strokes out there.

85 - putting was off, and didn't really give myself any realistic makeable putts when I eventually got on the green. 3 doubles did me in, plus the bogeyfest on the front nine. On the plus side, played the same ball for the entire 18.

Personal best 85 today, on a course I've only played the front 9 on. Started the round with 6 straight pars, and finished 18 with birdie. Other 2 triples, where the wheels fell off, it was a great round.

 

Focused on getting myself to 100 yards, so 3w/5w off tees instead of spraying the driver. Wedges were spot on.

 

That being said, I forgot sunscreen and I'm a lobster today.

I had one of my best rounds today, shot a 34 -1 under par would have been -2 if I would have hit one ball OB and still managed a par. 16 putts too many but overall I thought I putted well. Hit 86% FW 6/7 and 89% GIR 8/9. Thanks to some very nice drives and sweet approach shots. I played this course 4 times this month so I was over due for a good round. I usually only play 9 as I don't like spending all day on the golf course but sometimes its take 2-3 holes before I start getting warmed up.

Well darn,,,,,,92!

 

Played a course that used to hold State Am tournaments, local College and High School Championships back in the day.

Had not been there for many years and well, it was a s**t show.

No irrigation had ever been installed and rough 6 to 7 inches off the ribbon thin burnt out fairways

Greens were some sort of Bent/Ky Bluegrass/yard grass mix and quarter inch long and near dead

Tee boxes were just clumps of crabgrass and dirt

Sand traps with brick hard dirt and grass growing, but they did leave the rakes out

 

Imagine a $60 course playing for $15 and thats what we had.

I'm definitely a weekend hack.  Played a scramble last week and literally couldn't hit the ball off the tee (but was fine with my wedges).  Went out yesterday and played a short 9 hole course with a  par of 33 (although, to be fair, we usually play one of the par 4s as a 3).  Shot 32.   Golf is stupid.

Played 36 holes on Memorial Day at the Goose Pond Colony Lakes Course in Scottsboro, AL. Shot 87 the first time around and improved to an 82 on the second 18.

 

It was helpful to have some confidence about the layout on the replay round, but mostly I think I enjoyed it more because the course had cleared out quite a bit and we were able to play at a comfortable pace. I find it hard to get in a good performance rhythm when a course is slow. I need to work on that.

66 at north shore in Orlando. First sub 70 round in over a year. Game has been trending. Really hitting it well and putting a lot of work in to improve my swing. Putting grip change paying off too...from conventional to claw.

fourth round of the year! 3 under 68 course rating 72.3 , I really needed this round was a steady +1 for 2 years and slowly became a 1, hopefully with more golf I can get it back

The G425 Max driver at my crazy length is just incredible. I’m driving it better than I did as a 10 ‘cap before I got hurt. Not driving it as well as when I was a 5, but that was a lifetime ago. 😁

37, 44. Four double bogeys despite hitting 13/14 fairways. Iron play is killing me. Zero confidence and miss hitting shots from short range as well as farther out. Had a lesson three weeks ago and struggling to release the clubhead. Going to try a different coach.

Started the day with a hellacious drive and 30 yard LW to 4’ for birdie.  Ended up shooting 80 and was cursing a couple brain spasms that caused a DB/TB on 10/11.  Shot way under handicap today.  Was basically using driver/wedge on all the par 4s because driver was smoking long.  Loved it - a memorable round.

Played Eagle Eye in bath Mi last week in leauge right after NCAA regional. It was cold & Windy we all was saying anything under 40 would be a great score shot my a@@ off with a 34 -2 under

Shot my pb today, 92! Almost broke 90 for the first time. Driver was a little erratic but irons and wedges were dialed in. I was throwing darts at every green.

Had such an up and down round yesterday - going by the first three holes, was thinking it was going to be a long day. But somehow - scrambled my way to lowest score since the season started and had a realistic shot at breaking 80 until the 15th…

 

 

Played a match play tournament earlier in the week and had 6 strokes on the opponent (he played off of 5 and me off of 11) - first time I had the higher handicap. Made full use of it - after losing the 1st hole, won the second and didn’t give up the tee box until winning 5 and 4 after the 14th hole. On to the round of 32 now…

Even...4 birdies 4 bogies. 

 

Got off to a slow start. Was pulling drives and hit one so badly in the 2nd hole that I made bogey on a par 5. Bad break on the 4th and I'm 2 over. Birdie and bogey coming in to shoot 2 over of the front. Swing was quick. 

 

Adjusted on the back and went -1 thru 2, -2 thru 4, -3 thru 7. Bogey on 8th hole while chasing a birdie.

 

Swing is getting really close to being really good. A other 6-8 weeks and I'll be firing on all cylinders. 

 

Last 3 rounds, 3, 5 (and an eagle), 4 birdies. Starting to hit it closer and score better again.

Shot my lowest ever 1 over 73 with 2 drops and 1 3 putt.  Was 4 over going to 14 thinking of breaking 80.  Tap in bird on 14, easy 2 putt par on 15 the 8 foot eagle on 16 and 8 foot bird on 17.  Even par going to 18.  Had a 5 footer downhill for par which would be my first chance to shoot par or better for 18 holes.  Thought to myself don't leave it  short.  Left it 2 inches short
