I didn't know they allowed walking out there.  $105 is a great deal to walk it.  I'll be up at indian river for a long four day weekend..but not looking good for golf due to weather.

Walking has to be in evening....I teed off at 6:00 and had no issues getting 18 in

I'm a member at OU, but I frequently play other courses with friends so they don't have to fork over the $115 guest fee. I checked Boulder Pointe and they had tee times after 2:30 pm Sunday for $98!

 

I'm sorry but that's ridiculous. I'll swallow the additional money if necessary and just have my friends play Sharf considering it's leagues above Boulder Pointe, Westwynd, Fieldstone, etc...

Holiday weekend pricing everywhere.  Beacon Hill's getting $70 for the next three days.  I just laughed.

I understand weekends when the tee sheet is completely full, but many week days 3/4 of the sheet is open it just doesn't make sense to charge those prices.

Its getting harder and harder to play golf outside of my home club at these prices. I think U of M and Shepherds Hollow are the only public courses in the metro area worth remotely close to $100. Shrink the game.

Not sure what you decided but I just played Antrim Dells a week ago for the first time and enjoyed it way more than I was expecting.  Very fun.

Owner was telling me they just cut down a ton of trees a couple years ago.

Played White Pines National in Hubbard Lake this past weekend. That course is a hidden gem in Northern Michigan. I enjoy it more and more every time I play it. Greens were a little slow but overall, a great day and great round.

Yep, paid $82 on Sunday at Lyon Oaks. Course was in fabulous shape, especially the greens, but that seemed like $15 or so too much.

I feel like pricing everywhere started getting completely nuts around last year. I remember I was trying to set something up with some friends who are shall we say "budget conscious" one weekend, and someone looked at Cattails and they were charging $75. The crazy pricing everywhere is one thing that made me decide to re-up at St. Johns.

For sure taking a risk with Dunmaglass on conditions, but I like the idea that we might have the place to ourselves, possible play as 8 some.  We are actually staying at Dunmaglass, I can live with bad conditions as long as the greens are ok.  If they are trash, I might be giving the Dells a call for day 3.  I will post back and let you all know how it was.

Angels Crossing - Hands down best of the bunch according to everyone in our group. Seems like this could be a fairly windy course so we lucked out with perfect weather and for the most part kept things close on those monstrous greens. Course was in beautiful condition and those greens were rolling amazingly well. 

 

 

 

Anyone been out to this one recently? Heading back home later in the summer and saw some pretty terrible reviews online about the conditions and management.

I got my only hole in one on that course. Number 6. 8 iron, 143 yards, dunked it right in the hole. No bounce right in.

Dang, so not just Florida with crazy golf fees.  There was a course in Jupiter that in April of 2024 wanted $135(which I wasn't willing to pay), and this past April it was $185!!!  wtf?

 

I thought inflation was getting bad here in Canada, but it's almost worse in the US.  We always knew we could pop over to Michigan and find absolute steals.  Maybe they were undercharging a bit, but this seems like an overcorrection.  Hopefully the market speaks.

Was looking at tee times for Father’s Day and was shaking my head at some of the rates. $105 at Northville Hills. Unreal.

The worst is some of the public courses are now terminating memberships due to the money they can get with public play.
