I think overall this group of rookies looks pretty good. It's unfortunate that the F2 champ went to Kick, but that happened to George, too. It's tough to see what a rookie can do in a back marker.

Back from the theater. Solid 7/10 for me. Some parts were unrealistic, some parts were a bit too Hollywood, but overall it was a fun viewing experience.

That is such a great track, damn. Kimi takes Max out at turn 3, Lando was unstoppable all weekend and the F2 champ finally gets his first points with 8th. 

 

Poor Max will be lucky to finish 3rd this year, but it opens his contract up, I believe.

Max's team won the Pro Cup at Spa 24 and he got to se the finish, so that was nice. 🤣

Regardless of what F1 nerds thought of it - it crushed the re-holiday weekend box office. 55M domestic, 144M worldwide in one weekend. We have a couple of huge Imax theaters nearby, I plan to get there as soon as the ticket sales let up.

Rumors are flying that a deal is nearly done for Max to move to Mercedes with George either going to Red Bull or possibly Aston Martin.

 

I still think it's Max going to AM, but I'm not expert.

I also think Max ends up at AM because of the Newey effect.

If they were to go with the Max/George super team, I'd really feel badly for Kimi.

George won't pair with Max. It sounds like he's walked away from the current 1+1 contract they are offering.
