Faldo on Bryson - just stop, please.

Just stop your constant schtick about Bryson's "computation" for every shot. We get it - Bryson's got a different approach.

 

I'm definitely not a Bryson fan, but you seem to dig the needle in every chance you get. It's getting old. And it's lazy.

 

How about you mix up your commentary up with something useful and interesting?

Nantz never shuts up and must always have the last word.  Faldo's OK, I kind of like the British wit. Reminds me a bit of Renton Laidlaw that used to announce the European Tour on Golf Channel several years ago.  I'd get rid of Nantz and bring back McCord. McCord is best when he has someone to spar with. Like Ben Wright or David Ferrety.

Don't get me wrong. I've got no issue with criticizing Bryson. It's just the particular lazy and cheap way Faldo's doing it that is my issue.

 

It's sort of like picking on the guy who wears the funny glasses or flood length pants. It's gets a chuckle the first time or two. But keep doing it and the one doing it comes off as an even bigger jerk.

Bingo.  Zinger, J Miller, Faldo, Brandel, Leonard, Duval have all done it, some more so than others.  I think it's great because it gets really boring when an commentator gushes over the guys on tour all the time.
