Yep, I remember seeing that in the rules as well. Then winner's specifications not guaranteed I would assume means that you may not get exactly what you want depending on availability. Say you want a 9.5 deg, LH, XS shaft, Epic MAX LS, they may not have as many available? Compared to a 10.5 deg, RH, Stiff, Epic Speed which is probably more common.

Ok boys. Call in and confirm your info is correctly entered. I didn’t want to bother them but had a free few minutes and decided to confirm. They had my email address wrong but she said it should still be ok.

I called on Friday and was able to confirm that they got my entry and was told they would be sending out emails starting Monday (today). 

 

I checked my email as much as I ever have but didn't get anything today. Anyone got anything?

Who did you call? I confirmed through linksunlimited already.  Did you call Callaway as well?  I'm just curious how to follow up and to clarify the July 15 prize claim deadline.

I called the number thats on the beginning of the fourth page. It was not Callaway as the person said "callaway should have all the emails out by the end of the week."

I just got off the phone with LinksUnlimited (who runs the contest).  They have forwarded all the winners to Callaway.   Callaway told LU that they would be notifying the winners 'early this week'.   The woman on the phone was very helpful/friendly and mentioned that Callaway hasn't been providing them with a ton of details.  She was also able to tell me that my winning entry was received and included in the list sent to Callaway.

All submissions were sent to Callaway last week. We had hoped they would have communications out to the winners by the 12^th but they have informed us it would be early this week. I am sorry for this delay.

Sent an email this weekend, no response. Called just now and got through, they had my last name wrong so she updated it for me. Whole call took 1:30. Definitely worth calling and confirming!

I feel like they're going to have to give an extension because of the backlash they would get from people if they didn't. It wouldn't be a good look for them at all. But who knows, fingers crossed.

I’m holding out hope this works. I was surprised to see others having to correct information when calling to check if their entry was received. 

 

I was not going to call as my entry was clearly written, used my very best penmanship.  I called and was told they had my e-mail wrong, couldn’t read my handwriting.  Do we all really have illegible handwriting?

Just called to verify email and they had mine incorrect as well. Somehow they added a letter that wasn't even there to mine. Again I know my handwriting is very legible to begin with and I wrote even better on this and still somehow didn't get entered in correctly. 

The customer service rep was very friendly and said she changed it right then and was sending it over to callaway today. She said emails would be going out tomorrow or friday. 

I kind of wondered about the mail in entry just for this reason, if they can't read handwritting or maybe make a "mistake" they would give out a lot less clubs.

But hopefully all works out still.

Here's the Winner's List from another board.

 

Notice that it’s broken into two different lists. The first 10+ pages are those who entered online by buying Callaway driver at Dick‘s. Starting on page 11, there is an alphabetical list of those that entered via mail.

 

According to the list, those that entered online via purchase will be getting a Dick's gift certificate. Those that entered via mail will be given a code to build their driver on Callawaygolf.com.

Given that mail-in winners are ordering off the Callaway site, it doesn’t seem like there would be any problem with availability. I would guess that the "subject to availability clause" would apply to people who receive Dick's gift certificates and are looking to get a particular club (preferred degree, shaft, flex, etc.) at Dick's. In any event though, I’m going to order as soon as possible.
