Last evening I was trying to put the TR20V's out of my head, nope don't need new irons I said to myself!!!  Woke up this morning to this thread, this is not helping me  put these out of my mind. LOL.  I had hit the V's at a box store the other day, and was very impressed with the overall feel, looks and results. I had previously read a few glowing reviews, but had not hit them. Prices out of Japan for these make them very affordable, not sure one can find a better set of forged irons for the price.  I'm going to have to remember that line if my wife finds a box of irons on the doorstep from Japan.🤫

I ended up moving away from my set last year and have since missed them.  Cycled through a bunch of irons without finding anything to stick.  I’m officially going back to my tr20 combo set and could not be more excited about it.

Sounds like someone might have pushed you over the edge.

Haha… it was good timing for sure.  I’ve been working on getting my old set back for a while.  We finally agreed last night.

I am going to join you two in this experience/experiment as I did not give them a full shot last time and the price is right for a new set of this caliber equipment.

I had mine bent 1* - 1.5* weak in the v’s.  The look behind the ball is pretty awesome.  I left the p the same and I have it in the 5i.  Also have the tr21x in the 4i and it might be one of the best combo sets out there.  

 

I would not hesitate to give them another go @stimpmeterp  Performance is outstanding.

They have arrived from Sakata Japan and they are stunning.  A 10 for looks. Will have to play with the lightweight NEO while I source some slightly heavier shafts.

Would anyone know if the TR21X can easily bent for lie? I'm considering a set of these but need then 1-2 degrees flat. Heard these are cast not forged.

I’m pretty sure it can be bent for lie pretty easily.  I play the 4i and mine is bent 1* up with no problem.  Very impressive irons, regardless of cast or forged.  For a hollow body, they feel amazing!

I can’t believe I ever took these out of the bag.  First time out with them yesterday since I got them back and I am really happy.  Such a good feeling and performing iron.

 

My swing is s*** at the moment, but the good shots are incredible.  Bad shots were very manageable.  Just need to get back into it to dial in distances.

Glad too hear the V's are back in the bag Wam. Kind of a sleeper set the V's. After hitting the 7 iron numerous times at Golf Town I was hooked.  Just snagged a new set on the bay from Japan, price was way to good to pass up!

Yeah, these have been my favorites since I moved on from my Bridgestones. Just a fantastic feel.  Had them bent a 1-1.5* weak.  The look at address is perfect!

The TR21 fairway metals are no joke.  Two rounds under my belt with the stock heavier Vizard (plays D3) and have found a real gem.  It won’t balloon and is a distance machine.

Did you mean TR21 Fairway woods? TR20V are the Irons and TR21 the Fairway woods.

Yes, my bad.  It sits nice and square with no sight lines and has a low profile.  Fast face.

I have a set.  They have seen exactly one round.  They reminds me a lot of the cobra cb.  They would be the perfect iron if the soles were a little slimmer.  That being said if you like the slightly wider sole with lower bounce you’d be hard press to find a better iron.

I've missed my TR20Ps since I sold them off last year. So like any good clown, I've found a good deal on a set so excited to build them up again. Hopefully the condition is as rated.

 

It's also a TR20P/TR21X combo set which I've never seen before, but if they look the same at address, it could be a fun set.

Just bought the TR20v off a buddy. After hitting them I immediately sold my PXG Gen 6 P and bought these as they were too playerish for him.
 

These feel soooooooo good. Dense and powerful. Super quite at impact. Like whisper quite. It’s hard to explain.  Reminds me of Miura CB202 but with loads more forgiveness. From the 4 iron to the 10. They nailed this iron. I may even try and track down a gap wedge and I never play a set gap wedge. They are shafted with White AMT S300.
