Taylormade Lead Times

I just went on their Custom Shop to order some Hi Toe wedges. I got all the way to the end and it says they have an expected ship date of 1.26.2022. WTH?

 

Why even show them if lead times are that far out?

Some people are willing to wait i guess.

 

Every industry is struggling with going from a drop in demand, to record demand in the last 6 months.

i ordered a set of P770 $taper 120 early June, in my bag 2 weeks ago.

Maybe i was lucky or depends on shaft availability?

I think it's shaft availability. I ordered the same combo 2 weeks ago; p770 with $ taper 130 and the ship date is 9/28/21. Basically 2 month lead time.

Think it might have been the shafts ? I just got my 770 today with KBS 130 x-flex and that took 3 months !
I first got quoted 2 months, then that changed to 4 months and then got a call a few days ago, that they where on the way, 1 month ahead of time

LOL that lead time is nothing. I've been waiting on an exhaust since the beginning of 2021 HA. The entire import game is screwed right now. We all have to be patient

My 300 Mini took two weeks to ship and 2 1/2 weeks until I got it in hand.  Probably depends on what the equipment is.  However, lead times into next year is ridiculous!!!

Just depends on what you get and what’s in stock. Supply chains are a disaster still. 
 

Ordered a 300 Mini this afternoon. Shaft was in stock then went through and found whatever grip they had in stock, since that’ll get changed once I get it anyway. Should be ready to ship out by next Tuesday and I’ll have it by the end of next week.

Pretty easy way to beat the system. It's all component related issues right now.

Unfortunately for OP the component that’s out looks to be the heads he wants. Tough to get around that one.

I wonder if the new wedges coming out are impacting the current stuff. They just push them back so far and hope no one orders them or will cancel them at some later date.

I ordered a completely stock TM MG2 54° wedge back in April and still no word on when it might show up.  Fortunately, I'm in no hurry, but it is taking an unreasonably long time.

I was watching P7MCs since April. In April/May the date of next shipment was August. In late July it switched to December.  I decided to just buy some Srixon ZX7s new on Ebay when i saw a good deal. Hard to order new when there is in-hand cheaper already available secondary market. I'm changing shafts regardless, so shaft/grip is irrelevant.

Ordered my P7MC July 1, and I just got tracking from TM for delivery Aug 30.
