Yup, when I tested it on a launch monitor it was the longest for me as well. Feel is #1 criteria for me so I don't really play it that much. Snell and Pro Plus are my go to. I like Wilson Staff and Triad as well, but they're little more expensive.

I wasn't sure which one to get , the Zero or the Pro

With the sale that day I figured I would get one of each and go from there

I think the Pro will fit my game better but I am kinda hoping the Zero is good also just because of the price point.

Will be testing these out against my current ball the Wilson Triad

Played a few holes with this Vice Pro Zero this weekend

Unfortunately I lost the only 2 balls I brought out with me to play with that day

 

But I wanted to say that I hit a 5 wood off of the tee with a beautiful shot that flew right into a tree branch and went straight back into the woods.

There was not a mark on the ball from hitting the tree

So durability seems good

I should have taken a pic of the ball as I put into the pond 2 holes later

 

Will be testing again soon

I got a chance to put the Vice Zero through the paces

 

I currently play the Wilson Triad but I ordered some Vice Pro Drip along with the Zero on there Black Friday sale to check them out.

I played with the Drip to compare with the Zero

For me the Drip played a lot like the Triad 

 

1st thing about the Zero is when you hit it, it feels hard, like hitting a rock.

It did not sting when hit but you could easily feel the difference between the Zero and the Drip when stuck with a Driver and especially an Iron.

The Zero did seem shorter than the Drip off of the irons.

I am not sure if it was the swing or not but I was longer with my irons when hitting the Drip compared to the Zero

Off of the Driver both balls were right next to each other in the fairway

The ball flight was the same or at least not noticeable to me. I hit the ball high to begin with and neither of them flew low like an AVX or anything

When hit into the greens, the Drip would be right next to the ball mark, the Zero would be a foot or 2 beyond the ball mark.

Both balls had good durability, as my home course is lined with trees so that is a big issue with me when purchasing golf balls

I smashed a Zero right into a tree and there wasn't a mark on the ball

 

As an aside, I have never lost so many golf balls as I did when playing the Zero.

I went through 9 golf balls in 2 weeks playing this ball.

I do not know why but I cannot keep this ball in play

This is why I do not play ProV1 because I cant keep them in play either.

It is completely mental

 

Overall the Zero is a good ball , but I do not like the feel off of the Driver and definitely do not like the feel off of the irons.

Putting was the same thing, very hard ball

If I was to go back to Vice it would be the Vice Pro

I really like the Vice Pro.

The Vice Pro may not unseat the Triad but I would be comfortable playing either ball
