Titleist tsi2 driver help please

So,  Im

kind of a low launch driver guy but fit comfortably into 10.5 heads and then prefer to loft down to get the desired “open” look. Titleist has thrown a wrinkle into this strategy for me as they have gone to 9,10,11 degree heads so I’m actually thinking of ordering an 11 degree tsi2 to get that desired look.    I’m going to be honest in saying the stock 10 head “appears” slightly hooded to me, just a tad and im

concerned that lofting the 10 head down would lower launch too much .   I can’t even find an 11 degree head anywhere in Ontario Canada to look at so im

considering this sight unseen.   Anyone playing the 11 degree head or lofting this head down?   Really appreciate your thoughts or input even if you haven’t thought of this .   Thanks

I normally am a lower hitter but am hitting the 10 pretty high. I would try to get on a launch monitor before buying an 11.

I have tried the Tsi3 with both the 9 and 10 lofts. While I didn't change the settings (as I used fitting shafts), I had a much better ball flight (both launch and spin) with the 9. This prob doesn't help much since it's a different head, but just another data point. Trying different shafts will make the biggest difference (based on my results).

I hit the 2 and 3 10° at demo days. 2 launched significantly higher for me. I have a level delivery.

Yah, I'd say to try it out in a launch monitor. That being said, the 10 launched plenty high for me and I'm on the lower end. I too used to play 10.5's, generally turned down 0.75 or 1 deg. If you're in the GTA area, Golftown should have the 10 to try out and maybe an 11, but not sure where else. Alternatively, you could give the Tsi1 a try at 10 deg, it's certainly working for Nelly.

I was fitted for a TSi2 11* lofted down to C2 setting to 10.25*. This does provide a lower launch but I also use the tensei av white shaft which is lower launching as well. I definitely notice a more penetrating ball flight. The shaft matters and having a fitter get you ideal launch conditions is the way to go.

I really appreciate the feedback and suggestions .  I didn’t consider the tsi1 as an option nor did I realize that Korda used that driver .   I’ll try to at least find an 11 degree tsi2 head and look for a tsi1 head in a fitting card.   More so then numbers. I really need to like what I see when I look down (open face drivers) so that’s key for me.  Thanks again!   I’ll report back.   Heading to Golftown in kingston ontario today .
