Is Brooksie fragile or is it just karma?

Koepka withdraws from Tour Championship today with yet another injury.  Hurt his wrist after hitting a root.  Seems that he gets injured every few months.  Is he fragile or is it just karma?

Karma.  My opinion. Was my knee jerk reaction.

I hit a root once and my hand/wrist wasn’t the same for three years. It’s no joke.

They showed a picture of the root on golf channel, it was pretty big actually. Maybe 3-4 inches in diameter on the tv but that’s my guess.

Yeah, it was the root.  Karma is a superstition.  There's no such thing.

He’s probably lucky that it was just his wrist and not his elbow or back with the way he just stopped after hitting the root.

Neither. He hit a tree root and injured his wrist. That’s physics and anatomy. 

 

What karma? The cosmic winds that guide the forces of fate have nothing better to do than put BKs ball on a tree root because he made a Twitter video?

 

Yet they are asleep and ignore millions of innocents suffering across the globe?

 

Color me skeptical on that one ; )

2018 - Partially torn tendon in his left wrist.  Out for 4 months.

2019 - Partially torn patella tendon in his left knee.  Then a torn labrum in his left hip.  Then he slipped on wet concrete and re-aggravated his knee injury.  Out for 3 months.

2020- Hip and knee issues all year long.  Missed the US Open and the FedEx Cup playoff's Northern Trust

2021 - Stiff neck issues at the start of the year.  Then he had a right kneecap dislocation and ligament damage that required surgery.  Apparently he slipped on something yet again to hurt it.  Today he hurt his wrist on a root.

 

Fragile?...Bad Karma?...Bad Luck?...or just plain ole Clumsy?

Everyone who has played a certain number of rounds has hit a root.  Doesn't mean they've done something bad and deserved it.  Although I may have had it coming.

I along with many others are not  Buddhist or Hindu and believe in Karma. So your overall estimate is off.  😂

Having experienced it myself , add me to the billions list.    Call it what you will. If you put out good. Good tends to come back. When you put out bad.  That’s what comes back.  Surely most know this ?

But tree roots, along with other far more unfortunate calamities, descend arbitrarily and/or without regard to the good intents of its victims. 
 

Tragedy can plague the good. Great fortune often rewards the evil. 
 

These are the mysteries of life we can’t begin to fathom, my good man ; )

I suppose on the macro level this is true.  If people as a whole put out good, there is more good in the world to be received.  So I'll choose to look at it from the macro perspective.  👍
