Wilson Staff Model CBs

I have recently found myself to be super interested in this set of irons. All of the reviews seem to be super positive, I like the looks, and enjoy the fact that they have minimal offset and traditional lots. 

 

I saw a picture the other day however and I believe it was the 4i, 7i and P side by side, and the PW looked to be quite a large overall shape (kind of like the Mizuno PWs of the past). I dont love that look, especially if you go down from there into a smaller style specialty wedge. 

 

Can anyone provide some insight or feedback on the size and overall shape of the PW specifically? Possibly some side by sides with a 50 or 52 degree wedge? 

 

I appreciate any thoughts.

These are the real deal. Unfortunately Wilson won't sell the left handed model in Australia even thought the shops have fitting heads?

These like the Staff Tour V6 (current gamer) beat out all the other leftie options. I found no issue with the wedge size when looking at the right handed set in the store.

I am have been gaming these for a couple of months now and really, really like them.

 

My clubs are at the club so I can't take a picture but I have not been put off by the shape/size of the PW. In fact the main reason I switched to these from my Z785s is for the overall smaller blade size.

I gamed the CB's this year. No, the PW does not appear larger in size than the rest of the set.  Depending on what you're playing now, the head size (heel to toe) will look smaller than most of the newer players irons. Solid irons with great turf interaction, but I found off-center hits too penalizing. I actually preferred the V6 and lost distance with the CB's, but that's just me. Everyone's experience is different.

Maybe a little late, but here's some comparison pics of the Staff CB vs a Vokey SM7, both are 46*.  The head sizes are VERY similar; top line of CB is ever so slightly thicker.  Obviously I can't comment on CB performance, bought a set on impulse and haven't tried them yet.

 

If anything, going from looking at the CB to then looking at my 52* SM7, the 52* looks a bit larger.  However the topline is thinner on the SM7, so it is a bit of a visual adjustment.  If I put the CBs in play, I'll have to demo the PW vs my SM7 46*.
