Ferrule polishing, and removing light scratches from high polish wood crowns

I've never seen any posts on this, so figured I would throw it out there.  I recently got a Tour issue Epic Flash Sub Zero 3+ in from the auction site.  As no surprise the sellers pics didn't really represent the condition of the crown as well as they could have been.  Any high gloss finish on woods will get swirls, surface scratches, but this one was excessive, nothing too deep, but just a bit messy.  Enter this product below from Meguiars, this stuff is magic.  A little elbow grease with this stuff on a microfiber cloth, and it literally looks brand new, worked like a champ ony Mavrik Sub Zero driver as well.  It will also polish ferrules to make that factory shine, without melting.  Just wanted to pass along

and another trick is using a magic eraser on graphite shafts to help get off rub marks or small imperfections --

Interested because I do my own car detailing and have paint correction products already on hand.

I (and others) have been recommending Meguiars as scratch remover in other threads for quite a while now.

 

Similar car detailing products will probably work just as well.

Toothpaste also works and most people already have it around, hopefully. Paste not gel!

I scratched the top of my Cobra 3 wood with an alignment stick.  As advertised above Scratch X 2.0 and some elbow grease was the ticket.
