New KZG irons??

Anyone know details?

After trying all different OEM irons, I have come to the conclusion I hit my KZG Forged II irons better than anything else. They are real worn after 5 years of use and need to be replaced. I was wondering if anyone knew if they were releasing any new forged irons in the near future, any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have decided to pull the plug and get a set myself. Just having moved to Phoenix 6 months ago, I don't know of any clubmakers (since I know my specs and the existence of UPS, FedEx and USMail, I am not sure why distance matters). Anyone know of a good clubmaker who builds KZG irons?

They have almost a whole new line coming out beginning in a couple of weeks.

The 516HB are hollow blades. My clubmaker said he has made and sold 10 sets in just a few weeks. He was just at the PGA show with the Prez of KZG and they have drivers, hybrids and fairways that will rival the longest of the long woods.

If anyone wants the number of my clubmaker, PM me and I'll pass it to you. He is very talented and anal, which is good for a clubmaker, IMO. He wants them perfect. He's never disappointed me in 5 years.

funny coincidence. i was just handling these heads yesterday. they are pretty nice: very pronounced hollow muscle back. i have a set of feel golf blades that have the same technology, but the KZGs have more of a back to them, so, presumably, they offer even more forgiveness in the blade design. they look gorgeous, but they weren't shafted, and they weren't left handed, so i can't say more.

Oddly enough, one of their existing sets is coming out for lefties. It's significant because they look much different from their right handed version.

Actually,although the hb516's look like a blade, they are a cast club,hollow back. THey are fantastic, make no mistake but they are not forged.Thye look like a blade because of the design.They will be coming out with a forged III model soon which is a little more perimeter weighted and for a wider range of players.

I just had a fitting with him yesterday (not for KZG's) but he is a KZG club builder and it looked like he plays them himself. Great fitter/builder - very knowledgable and personable.

I havent had a chance to see the new line but I heard they are pretty nice. Im not sure about the price, but if you are looking for really good sticks, you should look into miuras. You wont be disappointed.

i live in Italy and was reading the topic about kzg II forged...

These are the best irons I have ever had. I have tried all the mizuno, currently playing the mp60 but i would like to go back to my forged II. only problem, they need reshafting. What do you guys play? I eas thinking at DG lite stiff. Any other suggestions?

I have the KZG CB II M forged irons with Rifle Graphite 80 gr. shafts SST Pured. These just threw out the MX-23 out of the bag!
