Pictures of Clubs For Sale - Pet Peeves

Couldn't find a past thread so here goes, regarding pics on the bay or other [Edit: And yes panties are in a twist over picture taking standards 😉]:

 

- FEET in the picture.  No one wants to see your gnarly *$$ feet.  Crop or do it again for the love of golf.

 

- Top view that's not squared up (or no top view at all).  I know some people hood the club at address like crazy, but let's see a nice neutral head in address position. 

 

- Just a short section of a shaft.  Let's see if the whole shaft looks good or is distracting.

 

- Not showing all around the clubhead... What dent/scratch are you hiding, or are you just lazy?

 

- One or two pics.  Really?

 

- Next to tape measure or ruler that's not at any real club measuring position.  Well at least you're trying.  A- for effort.

1.  Who cares about the feet, I'm looking at the item I might purchase...

2.  Top pics are just for showing a clean top line, what is "square to you, might not be to someone else, and who cares, its about condition...

3.  If you don't know what the shaft looks like already, then it's not likely good for you in the first place...

4.  Who really wants toe pics of a driver?  Besides, you can always request more pics...  OR are you just being lazy?

5.  Refer to the 4

 

Guess I'm just easy and look at the product for condition and nothing more.

This will basically come down to, if you are not happy with what you see, PM for extra details or pics.  If the seller doesn't cooperate, move on.   Communication goes a long way.

I would say a third of the "post a pic..." images on WRX has someone's feet in them. I thought it was a just a thing here. 🤣

 

Usually in socks which is even funnier to me. I'm usually wearing shoes when playing with golf equipment.

I found that when I asked my wife to use less starch in my boxers I was less cranky.  Might want to give it a try.  I get its a pet peeve but if that's all in this world that's working you up consider yourself blessed
