Super easy to check in, zero queue at that hour of the day. I stayed until the very end, queue to collect phone maybe 5 mins max.

Really fun thread to follow. Am hopeful that I can win my way in again soon!  Me and the gf had such a blast today, got it all done - gnomes, founders circle photo, saw TW on signature holes and Scottie coming in on 18.

Thinking about next year already. Anybody know if it might be better to buy in August or September if the prices were lower than what was out here in March/April or were the prices about the same?

Stubhub is pretty representative of the Washington Road market, broker I dealt with literally had StubHub, SeatGeek and Vivid Seats refreshing every minute or two on his laptop, they know that tax and fees are involved and basically dictated their pricing off of those websites.

I've only bought off Stub Hub and didnt go the Washington Road market. How many brokers would you guys say and reselling these tickets?

Where are these scalped tickets coming from?  People winning the daily lottery just to try and sell their tickets for profit?  Are there badge holders willing to risk losing their badge for life?  Sorry don't want to look through the 56 page thread to find the answer.

From the exit on 20 until the half mile away they aren’t allowed to sell it’s like this in every fast food/motel/shopping center parking lot. Assuming same ppl selling to them as they would SH

I think if they find out you sold lottery won tickets you're in trouble.  If you simply sit on stubhub night before and keep refreshing typically someone who is a lifetime holder who is desperate to sell due to some last second emergency posts tickets for cheap but since like 2,000 people are on there waiting they usually go fast.  The night prior to bad weather days are often when you get the best deals.  The night prior to Tiger winning in 2019 some tickets were going for 400-500-600 since people thought there would be severe weather.  As it turned out, nothing ever happened

My theory after talking with a Georgia native whose family has badges is that many aren’t fans of the event and use the badges as an extra income stream. 
 

They would be more upset losing the resale money every year if they were caught than not being able to attend the tournament.

I know it's early but I did take a peek at stub hub today... $1200 for Monday. Anyone ever bought this early in the year?

Plus, the dependable drop in prices the week/days of the event just hasn't happened the past couple of years...

Hold up, forgot about the damage the course sustained from the hurricane last SEPT...our flight to the UK doesn't leave until WED 4/9...so MON 4/7 practice round is back on!! 🙂

Womens Amateur tix are up on Stubhub; 49 tix starting at $850.   This year I'm most interested in seeing how the course changed due to the hurricane last year; this might be the route I take.

After attending ANWA last year, I will try to attend it every year. If you’re there for the course it is by far a great and not so crowded day (other than the main shop since the other entrance and shop is closed).

1 MON face value ticket secured!   And so for the 4th year in a row I've booked the 1-star Knights Inn at I-20 & Washingon, $79 smoking room, 1 mile from the course and 2 minute walk to TBonz!

I had this same excitement last year- “can’t wait to go back to that motel in Aiken that was cheap and not that bad”.  The room we got was on a first floor facing the front of the property so a lot louder. The towels were all different shades of yellow and the room not as clean as I remember. To top it off, a guy was sleeping in his car with the engine running and would occasionally step on the gas while dreaming. My wife and I thought the car was about to drive right through our room. After calling and visiting the FD we got it resolved, but it’s hard enough to sleep the night before!
